I had invested in this project about 4 years back but have not seen any progress. Any feedback or information about the project will be really helpful.

  • did u buy a plot or flat. if plot then at what rate and what is the resale rate u r getting. in this part of haryana the flat culture is still not very popular

  • Protest over delay in possession of plots

    Sonepat, February 12
    Several plot holders of tdi Green, Sector 16, on the outskirts of Sonepat town today staged a dharna in front of the company’s main gate in protest against the company and the district administration for not giving possession of their plots booked in 2005. They also handed over a memorandum of their demands to Congress leader and former CPS Anil Thakkar.
    Talking to mediapersons at the dharna site, Anil Manchanda, president of the tdi Green Plot holders Association, Sonepat, said the the company had booked 850 plots in 2005, assuring that the company would give possession of the plots within three years.
    Manchanda said though the plot holders had already paid 70 per cent of the land cost and the entire development charges, the company had neither given possession of the plots not carried out any development in the area. Manchanda threatened that if their demands were not accepted, they would be left with no other option than taking possession of their plots and carrying out development activities in the area

    New Delhi: A real estate firm has been asked by a consumer forum here to refund Rs 10.31 lakh to a customer for its failure to give him the possession of a shop, "reasonable time", besides paying him a compensation of Rs one lakh.

    Observing that firm TDI Infrastructure Pvt Ltd collected booking amounts without having an agreement, the New Delhi District Consumer Disputes Redressal Forum said it amounted to unfair trade practice.

    The bench presided by C K Chaturvedi also pointed out that the complainant, Rakesh Shangari, cannot be expected to wait indefinitely after paying the booking amount.

    "The terms of delay, penalty for delay on either side and conditions of exit or cancellation are not agreed so far. The collection of booking amounts, without such agreements is unfair trade practice. The complainant, cannot be expected to wait indefinitely.

    "We hold opposite party (TDI Infrastructure Pvt Ltd) guilty of deficiency in service in not getting the possession of shop delivered after construction in reasonable time," the forum said.

    The forum's order came on a plea by Pitampura resident Rakesh, who said he had paid Rs 10.31 lakh in three installments to the firm in 2007 for buying a shop in a commercial shopping mall, being built by TDI on main G T Road, Sonepat.

    When after two years of paying the amount, he received no response from TDI about completion of the project or delivery of the shop property, he sought refund from the firm, he said.

    TDI Infrastructure in its defence said the project got delayed as Rakesh had failed to pay the amount as scheduled.

    The forum rejected the contention saying "project of OP, obviously, cannot come to stand still only because of balance outstanding amount of the complainant."

    "In these circumstances, we direct OP to return Rs 10.31 lakh deposited by complainant. We also award compensation of Rs one lakh for his harassment and loss of missing opportunity elsewhere by blocking of his money with OP," the forum said.

  • The TDI is one the worst builders in Kundli Sonipat region.Lot of customers fell cheated by the unethical activities of TDI.I think there is no remedy till a regulator comes in force.Such court cases do not deter TDI to contiue to fleece customers by
    1.offerring possession of incomplete flats and charging maintenance from date of offer of possession.
    2.Increase in Super area without increase in carpet area at possession time.
    3.charging interest on enhanced EDC
    4.Offerring possession without club building for which customer has been charged.
    5.Poor quality of construction.
    6.Inordinate delay in completion of project without giving compensation for delayed delivery.
    7.Obnoxious CRM with no response to letters and emails.

    And even after knowing foul tactics played by these cheating builders, more and more continue to get sucked into buying these flats/plots at exorbitant prices while painting a rosy picture for future by saying that the prices will continue to rise forever....
