Dear friends,

Hiranandani Panvel will be launching by next week at the rate of Rs 3600 psf on builtup area.

I was reading through the new housing bill legislature passed by and was signed by Hon. VILASRAO DESHMUKH (Chief Minister) dated 23 July 2007, that builder have to sell the property on carpet area rate and not on builtup or super built up.

For those who are intrested in buying an apartment/villas/penthouse in Hiranandani panvel project please insist the builder to book on carpet area.

Here are the official link for Housing bill legislature:

Also see the very intresting article in Indian express about the (the Maharashtra Ownership of Flats Act, 1963,)

This mail is just to educate investors and the individual buyers about the new option.

  • This post in not in support of either savvy_v or hiranandani.

However, I find this entire idea of blaming savvy_v for supporting this project to be completely unfair and ridiculous. He is an investor in the project and naturally believed in the project - he shared his belief, enthusiasm and optimism with the board members - absolutely nothing wrong with that!

If anyone claims to have invested in this project only because of savvy's view, they need to take a good hard look at themselves. Everyone has to do their own due diligence before investing in any project and you cannot blame anyone else apart from yourself and the developer if something goes wrong with the project!!

So, my suggestion would be to stop this unfair and ridiculous blame game. Get together as a team and try to resolve the issues with the developer :)

    My POV:

No need to interfere if you’ve not invested in this project, guys are feeling cheated out here after investing their hard earned money.
It’s about time you wake up as well and stop promoting various projects in Mumbai Forums for whosoever interest (Best known to you :))

    or
Very soon investors will be gunning for your blood as well.:bab (58)::bab (58):

  • I agree we shouldn't play blame-game here, everyone was free to make their own decision and many of savvy_v's posts were quite informative however i would like to request everyone who have vested interests in any project to not go overboard and try to suppress posts from critics by posting half page long messages full of only positive side of project with fancy pictures. Most of the messages from critics are only one or two liners which easily get lost between those big posts.

  • why would one want to live close to airport??

    Hello experts
Maybe I am missing something here but why would anyone wish to stay close to area where airport will be built????

24/7 noise from planes flying around and taxis

Lot of tourists passengers means hotels which adds to noise and traffic

Commercialisation will be in heaps but not of use to common man.

Living near a place that is likely to be targeted by crazy terrorist compared to quiet location.

What is the positive to make people actually prefer such location???

  • I don't think it is close to the proposed airport, must be at least 15 km away from it. The only decent thing this is close to is the express way.

  • Well this project got sold out just because of brand hiranandani and with an anticipation that 7-8 years time this will be next powai or thane....unfortunately even the sales people lied to prospective buyers stating that this project is promoted by hiranandani which was never the case after 2010...
