Real Estate sops (when ever announced) are seldom passed on to the buyers (in India) and People must be discouraged to buy flats before it gets built COMPLETELY because if developers money is not at risk then they will not complete the project in time. This way honorable builders will be forced to sell at a reasonable price immediately rather than waiting for a huge profit margin. Transactions must be in square meter unit rather than square foot as a small increase in square foot will translate in to huge advantage for builder. (The whole world has adopted SI Unit around 50 years back.. We are in a time lag). Also, If tax incentive is given to people again media will show it as a big positive and builder may avoid the possible correction in RE because of may be increased demand.

If India's population going to rise 'evergreen' and corruption allowed to flourish.........., then there will be flats/ apartments even in Matheran also....... (now apartments etc. has reached upto foot hills of the 'endangered plateau... who knows after 25 years the plateau cutting 'may' also start)

Consumption is NOT going to subside in India... It is a one way path. Whatevr it cost, Ghar to sabko chaiyee...... Emotional and Investment both reasons get justified
