Hi all!!

I am new to this forum and i need your suggestions .. I am thinking of investing in a 60 meter plot in sector 29 of Rohini . The prevailing market price is between 80-85 Lacs .

To me ,the current rates seem very high considering there is no light , water , infrastructure in these sectors . The only structure that we see is the flats that came recently in the DDA Housing scheme 2010 otherwise its just a jungle at present(with few exceptions of constructed plots of various property dealers) . In the month of december 2010 these same plots were selling for 60 lacs i.e. 1 lac a square meter . The prices have escalated nearly 40-45% in the last 4-5 months .

Whats your say guys, is it worth investing there now and holding on for 2-3 years or shall i wait for the correction , is correction expected in these sectors , if yes how long you think it will take ?

Thanks in advance .

  • Go for sectors touching planned metro , to be extended from Rithala , heard sector 35 & 36 will have stations of their own .

  • 32sq meter mein khade hone ki bhi jagah hoti hai???

only idiots want to "invest" in this because there will be no end users for such tiny plots which are meant for jhuggi jhopdi wale

  • I am not sure if we are talking about end use or investment ?
There is no use of investing for end use but yes its an excellent opportunity to invest in such plots .
I hope some people here realise the importance of owning a piece of land in national capital .
Once Dwarka & Rohini were considered far flung & inhabitable but everyone knows whats the situation today for these plotted sub cities of delhi . Kuch nahin bachne waala in near future in metros .

  • By the way , dealers r already setting premium for Rohini plots where there is no electricity , water , sewerage etc , ones which belong to allottees of Rohini Residential Scheme 1981 . 60 sq mt plot commanding 40L in sectors 35/36/37 with no basic amenities & farming being done there right now . Thats the power of owning a piece of land
