Re : Residents Welfare Association, Process, Administration and rules!!

Hello Freinds, we, a group of allottees, in one of the project in gurgaon want to form a society and take the builder to task right from the begining. THe project was launched around 2 years ago and still there hasnt been any construction activity at all. Builder and representative have never been cooperative.

Thanks to efforts some of the allottees in this project, now we are almost 100 people together and connected. we all thought of forming a society / association so that builder can pay heed to our compliants . But when we went to society registering office in gurgaon, we were told that they cant register an association unless possession is offered by the builder.

need suggestion from the veterans here..if this is true as per law. And secondly if this is true then what should be done to bring builder to task and how to realise the strength of unity of we 100 people who are suffering at the hands of this errant builder.

    thanking you in advance.

        Resident welfare Association

Do the rules permit formation of more than one RWA in a large gated community that has over 400 independent Houses? If yes, kindly provide details.

I would be thankful for the information
