I am starting this new tread since a number of projects in CR are approaching the final 6 months of completion. Mahagaun recently paid penalty cheques to all the owners in Mascot for any delay .

Dumping ground issue is out of Dundaheda now and this has come in several news papers now .
NH 24 widening is sanctioned and tender is floated.Does any one have any thing to add .

I am an owner in Mahagun mascot project and am an end user. Would like to see a useful flow in information in this thread for the benefit of all .

    Seems DG issue is not on hold and progressing fast, with one part in Dundahera and another in Galand village.

    The news posted by fritolay_ps today is scary.

    डूंडाहेड़ा गांव के पास निर्माणाधीन डंपिंग ग्राउंड का काम सोमवार को किसानों ने रुकवा दिया। यहां पिछले कुछ दिनों से जल निगम बाउंड्री बनवा रहा था। नगर आयुक्त जितेंद्र सिंह ने बताया कि किसानों और कुछ अन्य लोगों ने विरोध के चलते काम रुकवाया है। अब यहां सुरक्षा बंदोबस्त के बारे में विचार किया जा रहा है। जल्द ही काम फिर शुरू होगा। उधर, मंगलवार (आज) को नगर विकास मंत्री आजम खान ने सॉलिड वेस्ट मैनेजमेंट प्लांट पर मीटिंग बुलाई है। इसमें जीडीए, नगर निगम और जल निगम के अफसरों को तलब किया गया है।
    नगर निगम डूंडाहेड़ा गांव के पास करीब 19 एकड़ जमीन पर डंप बना रहा है। काम के लिए जल निगम को नोडल एजेंसी बनाया गया है। नगर आयुक्त के आदेश के बाद 8-10 दिन पहले यहां बाउंड्री बनाने का काम शुरू हुआ था।
    लखनऊ में मीटिंग आज : नगर विकास मंत्री आजम खान ने गाजियाबाद में डंपिंग ग्राउंड का स्टेटस जानने के लिए आज लखनऊ में मीटिंग बुलाई है। इसमें शामिल होने जीडीए, नगर निगम और जल निगम के अफसर जाएंगे। सुपरिटेंडेंट इंजीनियर आर. एस. दिवाकर के मुताबिक, इसमें डंप के लिए जमीन आदि के बारे में फैसला होगा। सिटी में 2 डंप बनाने का प्रस्ताव है। डूंडाहेड़ा में करीब 19 एकड़ जमीन पर डंप डिवेलप होना है। वहीं गालंद के पास डंप बनाने लिए बिल्डरों ने 10 एकड़ जमीन खरीदकर जीडीए को हैंडओवर की है।

  • Okay all fellow members; here are some updates on my quest to buy a flat in CR:

    The purchase would be for SELF USE..NO INVESTMENT STRATEGY ...PLAIN DECENT PLACE TO LIVE .....

    I want to live in Ghaziabad, due to family commitments, also want that project shouldn’t be very far way from NOIDA too..my workplace

    So left with options like CR, GlofLink etc.

    WHY Crossing Republic:
    I know DG issue and also talked to someone very high up in GNN for updates, the feeling I got is CR will get a DG or not, it will depend on CR itself (i.e., RWA, CROMA).
    Ghaziabad Mayor is hell bent on constructing the DG here, whereas GDA differs on the issue and what will happen will be decided upon the political weight (read pressure) exercised by CR & adjacent areas.

    Apart from DG, I just like the area with upcoming Mall, hospital and a golf facing food court at walking distance from your home...it's not rare although impossible to get in NCR for 2500 - 2700 rupees per sq ft.

    2900 sound on higher note for CR but there is a cost associated with your liking (or should I say your wife's liking :-)))) ...We all know it ...lol

    I tried other projects in CR and I agree that the prevailing rates are 2500 - 2600 per sqft, but then there are very few projects/builders offering flat with a Servant room.

    I Need at least 3BHK + SR (required) or 4BHK + SR (preferred; 2 convert into home office)... & shortlisted 2 options:
    1. Mahagun Majestic

    2. Panchsheel Penthouse
    4BHK + SR penthouse (golf facing) in Panchsheel for 95 Lacs with terrace Jacuzzi + open area facing golf (although view was more STP than GOLF :-)))
    Just the drawback is D/D area which is very cramped in Panchsheel penthouse....

    Majestic:
    I negotiated the price for Majestic and Mahagun is hell bent not to give me discount of more than 5%...but got a feeling that may get a 6% with a cheaque in hand (not more)...so around 2900 for Majestic Tower.
    After my latest discussion with Mahagun in their office today morning ..I guess "MAY BE" I will be able to get it for 87 lacs + IFMS + Registry (with 2 car parking).

    mahagun is also offering me a 2150 sq ft 4BHK + SR in Mascot towers 2500 p/sqft (minus discount) ...but for Majestic tower they are saying that specifications are rich with rooftop clubs etc ..blah...blah...blah....so can't go lower.

    Please suggest other available projects in CR (with SR)......

    Do keep in mind the DG ground that is opposite to Assotech and Prateek project..

  • the road passing through crossing republic, between NH-24 and noida extension is nowadays too heavily traffic. 50% traffic of NH-24 divert to this road. now adyas you will not find traffic jam on NH-24 fro lal kua to sector-62. so this road should be named as NH-24A by GDA.

  • Although I believe @Manish1982 was joking ...but I agree road should be re-named to NH24 A..:-)

    I commute daily from Ghaziabad to Noida and earlier use to take CR road (NH24 A) but recently started taking NH-24 because there is no jam these days on NH24 whereas on CR road we have bottleneck ....

    Don't should feel happy about it or ALARMED ......

    Basically there is going to be road from NH24 to Noida Extension Circle and it will start somewhere near to Vijay Nagar chowk and will reach to Noida Extension Circle. What CR Builders has done it that they have already built a road from Crossing Infra society joining as t-point to road connecting to NH24- to Noida Extension Circle. They have already prepared their portion. It is going to benefit CR residents in two ways. First that they use this new road to enter Noida Extension and so Noida. Also NH24 to Noida Extension Circle road will be first choice for travelers coming from Noida and going to GZB and vica versa. Thus will reduce the load on ABES to Shaberi Village.

    As mentioned by @karlamohit ...i think he is mistaken by words of builders/brokers

    There is no existing road from CR to T-point ...CR builder did not prepared any road to connect NE till now...although everybody promise it will be built........
