Hello
I am starting this new tread since a number of projects in CR are approaching the final 6 months of completion. Mahagaun recently paid penalty cheques to all the owners in Mascot for any delay .

Dumping ground issue is out of Dundaheda now and this has come in several news papers now .
NH 24 widening is sanctioned and tender is floated.Does any one have any thing to add .

I am an owner in Mahagun mascot project and am an end user. Would like to see a useful flow in information in this thread for the benefit of all .

Happy threading :)

If a mega earthquke happens having a epicentre even in a range of 400 KM from Delhi , the person living in a second floor may not get a time to get down in time to be alive. It all depends whether God is kind enough to give you another chance or want to meet you on urgent basis.

Earthquakes Don't Kill People, Buildings Do.

The actual thing that matters is quality of construction that have been screwed up by greedy builder, authority, govt and even by buyers as well. Everyone want good home in less price, builders want more profit so they increase FAR with the help of govt and authority so more no. of flats means more no. of people will be living on same land. Whole NCR is in mess due to all this. What could be the outcome of mega earthquake we cannot imagine. We are praying to God because our readiness is incomplete. I believe in God but God doesn't help to people who don't help for themselves.

My Dear Friend , I appreciate your point but in NCR buildings are already constructed so you cannot change it overnight so what you can do is to prey to God only and the matter of fact is human are helpless against nature's fury. Till now the most devastating and mega earthquake happended in Chile in 1960 when a earthquake of 9.5 on richter scale came and continued for 10 minutes killing more than 2 crore people. Any kind of construction could not have saved loss of lives in these type of situation. We do not have any regulator in India and we all know how the certificate of structural design can be easily PURCHASED in India so at the end we are only dependent on God. Lets face the truth.

  • Quake impact?

Has any building in CR/NCR been reported to by severely impacted by the recent unfortunate earthquake? Given that buyers don't have too many options in NCR and have to necessarily go for High rise, how is the market behaving - on ground sale transactions pace/prices? NCR anyways has witnessed 5-30% of prices softening in last 1 year as per some reports - with Gurgaon taking the maximum toll. What's the prevailing transaction rate range in CR 3400-4000 psf?

    Any view anyone?

  • Noida Extn Metro work to begin soon - The Times of India
Looks like Noida extension Metro will be ready for Crossing Republic before NH-24 get widened. Or this might be a paid news to get the sales up for Greater Noida west.

  • Good to see a tussle between Centre vs state for taking credit of resolving Nh-24 traffic mess. Where centre has approved widening of 16 lane of Nh-24 and confirmed work will start in next 3 months , within a day state govt announced that they will prepare parallel service lane from UP gate to Dasna railway crossing so that local traffic can use the same and traffic on main NH will be reduced drastically. State govt has put in sept 2015 as target date for completing the project so we can assume if everything goes well it would be ready by year end.
first time good to see fight between parties for development rather than on communal lines.Hope both projects will materialize.

16 lane is only upto Delhi border. If I'm not wrong. Only 8 lane elevated road proposed in Ghaziabad to dasna that will take time to get going as it needs 11000 crore budget. And would very unlikely be used by local traffic due to high toll.
