High Speed Metro (RRTS) Progress Report for Delhi - RNE - Meerut Route

निजामुद्दीन ( नई दिल्ली ) से मेरठ के पल्लवपुरम तक हाईस्पीड ट्रेन ब्रॉडगेज पर दौड़ेगी। आरआरटीएस ( रैपिड रेल ट्रांसपोर्ट सिस्टम ) की सीआरसी ( कंसल्टेंसी रिव्यू कमिटी ) की बैठक में यह फैसला किया गया। बैठक में बोगी के स्टैंडर्ड , इंटरनल डिजाइन , स्टेशन के साइज और डिजाइन पर भी मंथन हुआ। प्रस्ताव आया कि कोच की लंबाई 26 मीटर रखी जाए और यह एल्युमिनियम का बना हो। बोगी में कॉमन एसी हो। आरआरटीएस टास्क फोर्स की बैठक में प्लान फाइनल होगा। दिल्ली में हुई इस बैठक में मेट्रो प्रोजेक्ट कंसल्टेंट कंपनी , हाईस्पीड ट्रेन कंसल्टेंसी कंपनी के इंजीनियरों और सीआरसी अफसरों ने हिस्सा लिया।

ये तय हुआ
लगातार कई घंटे चली बैठक में हाईस्पीड ट्रेन के इंजन साइज , कोच , स्टेशन , कोच में सीटिंग डिजाइन पर बातचीत हुई। बैठक में सबसे महत्वपूर्ण फैसला यह हुआ कि हाईस्पीड ट्रेन ब्रॉडगेज पर दौड़ेगी। ट्रेन की बोगी एल्युमिनियम से बनी होगी। इसमें कॉमन एसी होगा , 2 ट्रेनों को मेन स्टेशन से छोड़ते वक्त कम से कम 5 या 5.5 किलोमीटर का अंतर होना चाहिए। इन सभी पॉइंट पर टेक्निकल कमिटी और कंसल्टेंसी कंपनी की एक राय बनी।

ये हैं प्रस्ताव
फिलहाल यह तय नहीं हो पाया है कि हाईस्पीड ट्रेन में कितने कोच होंगे। बैठक में 6 और 9 बोगी का प्रस्ताव आया है। कोच के साइज पर भी आखिरी फैसला नहीं किया जा सका। वैसे रेलवे के कोच 24 मीटर लंबे और 3.7 मीटर चौड़े हैं। हाईस्पीड ट्रेन के कोच को 26 मीटर लंबा और 3.7 मीटर चौड़ा बनाने का प्रपोजल है। कोच का डिजाइन फाइनल होने के बाद ही स्टेशन का डिजाइन फाइनल होगा। अभी यह भी तय नहीं हो पाया कि कोच में कितनी सीट होगी। 2 और प्रस्ताव कमिटी के सामने पेश हुए। पहले प्रस्ताव में ट्रेन में 64 सीट और दूसरे प्रस्ताव में 115 सीट डिजाइन करने की बात कही गई है। कोच का इंटरनल मेट्रो कोच की तरह होगा। इसमें टॉयलेट फैसिलिटी नहीं होगी और खड़े होने के लिए हैंड हैंडल होंगे।

नहीं यूज होगी कोई नई टेक्नॉलजी
सीआरसी की टेक्निकल कमिटी के मिनट्स तैयार कर उसे टास्क फोर्स की बैठक में पेश किया जाएगा। बैठक में कंसल्टेंसी कंपनी और अन्य टेक्निकल कमिटी में शामिल इंजीनियरों से कहा गया कि हाईस्पीड ट्रेन में किसी भी नई तकनीक का प्रयोगात्मक यूज नहीं किया जाएगा। प्रायोगिक तकनीक ही हाईस्पीड ट्रेन में यूज होगी। सीआरसी के मिनट्स को जल्द ही दिल्ली में होनी वाली आरआरटीएस टास्क फोर्स की बैठक पेश किया जाएगा। हाईस्पीड ट्रेन का रूट पहले ही फाइनल हो चुका है।

  • Sir vaishali is different. Thatswhy it did not take that much time. When this is regarding proper Ghaziabad, things become different. You see Gzb Metro for example. However I will be happy if I will be proved wrong

  • For me neither metro nor rrts makes any importance, real boost for gzbd is nh 24 nh 58 link road. I can give it on stamp, once that is done rne and gzbd re rates would be at par of ip/vaishali for sure.

  • Took 10 years for double line from Ghaziabad to Muzafffarnagar line. Electrification still to be awaited.
    Will take 10 years before proper EMU (Like the one on Aligarh route) to run on this route.

    For RRTS, I would put my money on 2050, not before.

  • Yes we know how government works but this project is really different than others and is important to various cities and states. It will be a game changer for NCR. No need to buy small and expensive houses here just be there in ur home town and work here. So in long term, it many not be that much good for property prices here as people will have option now, but it will push prices up in other cities high in NCR. In main cities, we will have less congestion and less stress on stracture...I hope all the states also aware of the seriousness of this project. It is not just metro....So i am hopeful that they will give it a call very soon...

    NEW DELHI: The government’s ambitious plan to connect three major locations in the National Capital Region (NCR) with Delhi through rapid rail would need at least Rs 72,000 crore investment. The urban development ministry submit this before Parliament during the current session as a part of the annual report of NCR Planning Board (NCRPB).

    The investment has been calculated as per September 2011 prices. Though there is little chance of the rapid rail transit system (RRTS) becoming functional in the next four years, the planning board in its report has mentioned the ridership of these lines starting from 2016. Sources said huge capital investment and from where this amount would come have been major concerns for the government. These have been the main reasons behind the UD ministry still not been able to circulate a Cabinet note for inter-ministerial consultation.

    There are reports that Haryana chief minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda has talked about treating RRTS as a national project and thereby hinting at the need of the Centre funding the entire project. Sources said such a proposition would be tough and there is a need of states to share the burden to provide better and faster connectivity to people living in these states.

    The three lines identified would join Delhi with Alwar (via Gurgaon), Meerut (via Ghaziabad) and Panipat (via Sonipat). While Delhi-Alwar would be the longest route covering 180 km, Delhi-Panipat would be 111.2 km and the shortest, Delhi-Meerut, would be 90.2 km.

    On the lines of Delhi planning to develop transit oriented corridors (TODs) along the exiting Metro lines, the NCRPB also proposes to develop TODs close to the RRTS stretches. TODs allow intensive residential and commercial development. The planning board proposes TODs at three locations on the Delhi-Panipat stretch, nine on Delhi-Alwar corridor and four on Delhi-Meerut line.

    The projections of ridership suggest that people taking these trains would be close to 22.2 lakh. “There is a need to take a decision fast as we cannot avoid putting a robust inter-city transport system. Any delay would mean that cost would go up further,” said a Haryana government official.
