I think there is possibility of huge jam in this road also(it is not so wide). So it will not possible to reach Metro within 25/20 min. by driving at normal speed.

I am Already using 3 times more Traffic Loading Roads from Shalimar Garden to Vaishali Metro bia (GT Road - Mohan Nagar - Vaishali).... total distance is Exact 10 KM.... None of this road is Expressway and have high traffic of Shared Auto & Commercial.... Maximum Time even in working hours it take 15 Minutes by bike , 20 Minutes by CAR.... Previously 1 years before time was taken much more but after Mohan Nagar becomes wide 2 times, and Mohan Nagar to Vaishali Metro road has done 8 Lane, It never take more than 15 Minutes using bike to cover 10 KM even at more contested roads always full with traffic..... Previously 1 year before it take 15 minute to cross Mohan Nagar, now it take maximum 3-5 minutes, other than this no place where to stop.

  • Thanks Saurabhji. But please keep in mind that the new flyover is only 10 m wide. i.e. 5 m for vehicle of each side

Everything comes at it's time..... what ever a NCR area can have at 2300 PSF All Inclusive Rate, RNE has more than that....... Do you think if really Mohan Nagar metro work fully approved & Started then the Rate will be just 2300 PSF........ So none of RNE buyers is paying anything extra due to Mohan Nagar Metro at 2300 PSF AI for sure. Jo Price Rise hoga Bonus Hoga.

Yes, and distance is also just 800 Meter, OLD Hindon Bridge has Jam due to huge huge public from OLD GZB side every day.....

Traffic jam se baacha aasaan nahe hai..... after Noida DND cross to DEHLI Ashram there is sometimes 45 Minute Jam towards Lajpat Nagar..... and in working hours 20-30 Minutes Jam regular, noone can take any single cut soon. Same Jam we also have seen at GZB order (all) 1.5 years before.... but after CWG we see now all much much smooth from GZB Borders (Anand Vihar , Ghazipur , Dilshad Garden) to DELHI, due to Long Under Passes & Circular Roads......

India hai to Thora Bhoot Jam Bhi rahega kuch points par.... but not as high as we are think at this it not main DELHI-FDB order , or DELHI-GZB border, or Narrow cuts in DELHI after HUGE YEW. Just becomes YEW operational and then see the traffic situation at 6 Lane Noida-GN Eway. Koi Nahi Bachega :D

Worst has not Started!!!! Worst will started once YEW will start after Mar. Excepted Vehicle (including big Commercial trucks) more than 2Lac to 5 Lac Daily from Agra (Industrial/Tourist City) to DELHI as per Jaypee..... And think after DND where Delhi Roads are very Narrow after Ashram & no place to WIDE It. Noida-GN Eway is also only 6 Lane in between Noida to YEW.

What is advantage of GZB border..... After border all Roads are 8 to 10 Lane (NH-24 after Vaishali Cut) towards Delhi... Barapulla Elevated Road to go toward South Delhi (Lajpat Nagar/AIIMS/Mulchand/Bikaji/Nehru Place)..... all maximum 15-25 minutes far after Ghazipur-GZB Border..... Barapulla is TOLL TAX FREE BEST Elevated Road (6KM at this time) and also going to increase more till AIIMS and Akshardham in next 4 years, Till AIIMS already has been approved by DELHI GOV. Slip Road at Barapulla for going to (Lajpat Nagar/Mulchand/Nehru Place) Side will be fully operational in April 2012.

Akhilesh Yadav for Metro, mono-rail in major UP cities

To ease traffic congestions in Lucknow, Kanpur, Agra and Varanasi, chief minister Akhilesh Yadav on Saturday asked officials to prepare a feasibility report for starting Metro, mono-rail and BRTS services, and expedite implementation of the second phase of Metro project in Ghaziabad.

Yadav, who was reviewing the working of housing and urban planning department, asked the officials to prepare the report early, an official spokesman said.

He favoured implementation of northern peripheral by-pass project in Ghaziabad on the Public-Private Partnership mode at the earliest, besides implementing the second phase of metro project there, the spokesman said.

Yadav directed for setting up an IT park in Lucknow to help youth get employment at the local level, besides asking for construction of flyover for dealing with the problem of traffic jams on the Lucknow-Kanpur national highway.

The chief minister also directed to give shape to the Jai Prakash Narian International project in Gomti Nagar area of the state capital.
