    And Khush Kumar ji....there are always two categories in people with respect to any area/project/development - Optimistic and Pessimistic

    Maxcapri, myself, Saurabh and many other fall in Optimistic category

    Khush Kumar --> Pessimistic category

    There's actually nothing wrong at all in being pessimistic and I'd really love to see more people putting across the other face of the coin as well if any exists. It will only propagate a healthy discussion....

    As the optimistic people are bringing in so much evidence in the form of news articles(even if they are paid), it would really help if some kind of corroborative evidence is put across by the pessimistic people as well....

    So there's no question of banning/debarring Khush Kumar as it will lead to a one sided discussion....Cheers :-)

    आवास-विकास परिषद करेगा अतिरिक्त पैसे का इंतजाम
    प्रमुख सचिव (आवास) की बैठक में हुआ फैसला

    गाजियाबाद। मेट्रो विस्तार के थर्ड फेज में लोनी के जौहरी इंक्लेव स्टेशन के लिए जीडीए 20 करोड़ रुपये का अंशदान देगा। शुक्रवार को लखनऊ में प्रमुख सचिव (आवास ) के साथ हुई बैठक में यह फैसला हुआ। जीडीए नया बस अड्डा मेट्रो के लिए निर्धारित अंशदान से ही यह राशि निकालेगा। जीडीए के अंशदान में कमी की भरपाई आवास-विकास परिषद द्वारा की जाएगी। यानी अब आवास विकास का अंशदान 165 करोड़ से बढ़कर 185 करोड़ रुपये हो जाएगा। जीडीए का अंशदान 496 करोड़ ही रहेगा। अंतर इतना है कि नया बस अड्डा मेट्रो के लिए जीडीए 476 करोड़ और लोनी मेट्रो के लिए 20 करोड़ रुपये देगा।
    थर्ड फेज के अंतर्गत दिल्ली के मुकुंदपुर मेट्रो स्टेशन से शिवविहार तक 56 किलोमीटर ट्रैक बनना है। इस रूट में एक स्टेशन लोनी में बनना है। इस स्टेशन से लोनी निवासियों को मिलने वाले फायदे के कारण डीएमआरसी ने प्रदेश सरकार से जमीन व अंशदान की मांग की थी। इस पर जीडीए अधिकारियों ने जमीन देने पर सहमति जताई थी, लेकिन अंशदान देेने से मना किया था।
    जीडीए अध्यक्ष संतोष यादव ने बताया कि प्रमुख सचिव (आवास) ने लोनी मेट्रो के लिए प्राधिकरण से 20 करोड़ का अंशदान देने के निर्देश दिए हैं। निर्देशानुसार कार्रवाई की जाएगी।


    यूपीएसआईडीसी को जल्द फैसला लेने के निर्देश
    प्रमुख सचिव (आवास) एसएन शुक्ला ने शुक्रवार को ही यूपीएसआईडीसी को सेकेंड फेज मेट्रो अंशदान के लिए जल्द फैसला लेने का निर्देश दिया। उन्होंने यूपीएसआईडीसी अधिकारियों से कहा कि दिलशाद गार्डन से नया बस अड्डा मेट्रो प्रोजेक्ट मुख्यमंत्री की प्राथमिकताओं में शामिल है। इस प्रोजेक्ट से नहीं पीछे हटा जा सकता। इसके लिए कैसे धन का इंतजाम करना है उसके विकल्पों को तय कर जल्द सूचित करें।

    Yes my original proposal is to contribute and do not try to foist culpability on me. What I have suggested above tht is all about contribution. Lets join hands together and do not limit yourself to a limited idea. I have just now spoken to a gentleman who is at a senior position in DMRC. He said so far DMRC has not received any concrete proposal and for them this will be a very convenient project to execute alongwith Loni project. I am not a wrestler even you invite me to duel with you of course, I am not coming for this purpose.

    But tumne ek baat samjha di hai tHOSE WHO ARE REALLY ENTHUSIASTIC ABOUT METRo are welcome if they do not raise any question apki HAN mei han MILAYEN AUR KOI SAWAL NA KAREN.

    I believe this is your first meaningful post till now. And that is what I've been telling you to do all this while....post some data points to support your views, but you have just been blabbering like a loud mouth without giving any supporting evidence......

    If you read my posts I've repeatedly told you to put forth your contradictory points on the GZB project supported by evidence which have been missing till now. You are most welcome to raise your SAWAALs, but raise them with evidence.....

    And now coming to your evidence that you have just talked to a DMRC person and he states that DMRC has not received any proposal..... This is not called supporting evidence because I can question the authenticity of whom you talked to, whether you actually talked to anyone or not. Concrete supporting evidence is newspaper articles given by DMRC spokesperson which other members have been providing in support as well as contradiction....

    I'm again asking you to give CONCRETE SUPPORTING evidence to your claims and it will be very well accepted, discussed and inferenced....

    The following lines have been sanctioned by the Government for inclusion in Delhi MRTS Phase-III at present:-

    · Jahangirpuri – Badli (4.489 km.)
    · Central Secretariat – Kashmere Gate (9.37 km.)
    · Mukundpur – Yamuna Vihar (55.697 km.)
    · Janakpuri West – Kalindi Kunj (33.494 km.)

    Delhi Metro Rail Corporation Ltd. (DMRC) has reported that overall 6% physical progress of civil & design works has been achieved for the Phase-III project as on 31.3.2012. Besides this, Detailed Project Reports (DPRs) on the following additional lines to be included as part of Phase-III have been prepared and submitted by DMRC as per directions of the Government:-

    (i) Extension of Mundka line to Bahadurgarh
    (ii) Metro connectivity from Dwarka to Najafgarh
    (iii) Extension of metro line from Yamuna Vihar to Shiv Vihar

    Representations have been received from the Chief Minister, Haryana, Members of Parliament (MPs), Members of Legislative Assembly (Delhi) for sanctioning of extension of Delhi Metro to the following areas of Delhi / National capital region:-

    i. Metro connection from Dwarka to Najafgarh.
    ii. Metro connection from Yamuna Vihar to Shiv Vihar.
    iii. Metro connection from Mukundpur to Shiv Vihar.
    iv. Extension of Mukundpur-Yamuna Vihar line upto Jahangirpuri.
    v. Extension of Delhi Metro to Bawana and Narela.
    vi. Extension of Delhi Metro from Mundka to Bahadurgarh.
    vii. Metro connection from Andheria Mor to Airport.
    viii. Metro connectivity from Nand Nagri to New Ashok Nagar.
    ix. Metro extension upto Ghaziabad New Bus Adda and Loni (Ghaziabad). :)
    x. Extension of Delhi Metro Rail Line from Lado Sarai to Badarpur and Khanpur to Mool Chand Hospital, Lajpat Nagar.
    xi. Extension of Delhi Metro to Manesar.
    xii. Extension of Delhi Metro from YMCA Chowk to Ballabhgarh.

    Expansion of metro services is an ongoing process with reference to urbanization. Metro rail projects are considered in Government depending upon the proposals received from the State Governments. However, the consideration of the proposals and their sanction depend upon a number of parameters viz. the project justification, availability of resources and relative prioritization, etc. Government of India supports development of public transport in line with National Urban Transport Policy (NUTP) subject to availability of resources.

    The funds allocated and released by the Union Government, National Capital Territory of Delhi (GNCTD) and Delhi Development Authority (DDA) to DMRC for Phase-III during 2011-12 are as under:-

    Good point with both NEW GZB METRO Lines is that UP Gov. & AKY personally want these to start ASAP hence they will make a way for 15% UPSCID Share ASAP (I think)....

    BAD point with UP is that Mayawati left CM Chair after looting UP fully and nothing left into UP Gov. Khajana right now, it will take around 1 year to again get fresh money into UP Khanaja ..... so GDA has to manage both new gzb metro lines funds at his own with 3 partners in which 2 are ready 1 is remain.
