A few months back I heard that the people of new palm vihar and a factory owner approached the court and got the stay order and therefore the work has stopped.
Please share with us if you have some information about Dwarka eway ?

  • I doubt when this expressway would be completed , maybe not in our lifetime. I checked it up , about a month back , almost no progress in the last six months, except at some streches, loose soil has been dumped.

  • This road bad been put on fast tack by HUDA. And as per my assessment it will see light of the day in this year and sunshine in next year. In every communication ,and in press about the HUDA master plan, and other news, the name of Dwarka Expressway and resolve to build this is reflected. So I expect and forsee it to be underconstruction sometime late this year and progressing next year...
    Due to uncertainty (as a court cases + Poor access now) this is not in the priority list of investors and end users, however Builder/Developer is raising and keeping the rate high as they know that it will drive big number of investors and end users due to proximity to developed dwarka, Airport, Metro, wider road etc.

    Some ifs are attached thats why as of now this area is not under limelight...the moment these ifs are removed it will be a hit ...

    Do you have some specific information that court will deliver final decision by end of this year.The court cases are notorious for passing from one generation to next.

    Gurgaon Realty majors among those with development projects along Southern Peripheral Road With pressure mounting from developers who had purchased land in the new sectors adjoining the Southern Peripheral Road (SPR), the Haryana government has decided to award parts of the work to two real estate majors who have upcoming projects along the route.
    While the Haryana Urban Development Authority (HUDA) has awarded work on a 1.3-km stretch of the 5.2-km road to Unitech Ltd, another 2 km has been given to DLF Ltd. The remaining part of the 90-metre-wide corridor will be awarded, after tendering, to anyone willing to take the project at the price offered six months ago.
    Meanwhile, HUDA has written to the government for sanctioning Rs 132 crore to begin work on a 12.5-km stretch of the 18.5-km, 150-metre-wide Northern Peripheral Road (NPR). About 3.5 km of the NPR is under litigation, while another 2 km is in fragments and cannot be built unless the stay orders are vacated.
    HUDA, which has floated tenders inviting international consultants for designing these two roads, is also in consultation with officials and experts in New Delhi who have designed various Commonwealth Games projects. “If all goes as per plan, we will float tenders for the NPR by mid-July,” said Pankaj Kumar, Superintending Engineer, HUDA.
    The two four-lane corridors will also have 30 metres of green belt on both sides, separate lanes for slow and fast moving traffic, slots for a Metro line and public utilities as well as scope for future expansion.
    “Land acquisition for the road is on priority so that developers can benefit from the good connectivity,” explained Gurgaon Deputy Commissioner Rajender Kataria. The NPR has five bridges, including a railway overbridge at Garhi Harsaru, for which tenders will be floated separately, he added.
    The roads are an important part of the Gurgaon-Manesar Masterplan 2021. Along with the Kundali-Manesar-Palwal Expressway, the aim is to take away 40 per cent of traffic on the Delhi-Gurgaon Expressway by providing a shorter alternative. Work on the NPR has been inordinately delayed since several residents of Daulatabad and New Palam Vihar, whose houses were to be demolished, moved court. A final order is still awaited.

  • According to todays Hindustan times, contract has been awarded on Southern Periphery & north periphery both. On Southern perifery road will not be constructed on 4km immediately, till the time court rulings come.

    Actually paper says that Budget has been approved for both NPR and SPR and--

    SPR
    construction work on a segment of SPR has started ( HUDA has given contract to a private company ).

    NPR
    no work has yet started on NPR , no contract is yet given for construction of any segment of NPR and 3.5 km of the total 18.5 kms is still under litigation and 3km is under Delhi Government jurisdiction but HUDA is planning to get the work started on litigation free haryana segment ( 12km ).

    So stll Sohna Road is a best option > sectors along NH8 > Ramprastha City> sectors along NPR >sectors along Pataudi Road.

  • Sector 99 to 115 are going see much appreciation in 2-3 years. Following are the luxary projetcs being launched in these sector:

    QVC- Villa's Launched sector 99
    BPTP- Villa's launched sector-103
    Indiabull- Enigma Highend luxary launched
    Emmar MGF- sector- 103 to be launched

    Onle 4-5 five low end projects are presently being developed. This area will not see any affordable projects in future. This is the right time to invest. The opportunity is unlimited. This area will command premium as compared to NH8 projects. There is no high end projects planned in NH8.

    all the experts are requested to give expert opinion on my thoughts.

    The current prices of Dwarka Expressway will never come back again.

    It will go high - high n higher only.

    Once the official news of work commencement will come, the prices will go sky high and will be a far away dream for common man.

    All the projects which are in the pipeline will be launched with hefty price tag.

    Lots of Villas and townships coming along the hi-way

    Hi,

    Is it possible to go and check the location at present. So, I'll be coming from dwarka metro station, which route I should take to see these sectors : 102,103,106 etc . ?

  • Psambher, there is huge land bank in the area. Many affordable projects will definitely come. But the whole corridor will be a highly urbanised area.

    Ashish, Crescent Park is poorly located wrt Dwarka expressway. Much land bank in the area. Distance from Dwarka Eway, NH-8 and KMP is almost same - some 4-6 Kms. So Pataudi Road is the main road for this. It is a project for those who cannot afford Gurgaon prices.

    Durbious, I agree, these prices of 2800 and 3000 psf are here for max 6m to 1 year. Then we will move to 3600 psf.

    Guess who, the Eway is expected by 2015, Metro will be parallel and expected by 2020 only.
