Hi all,

I'm in the market to sell a property of mine in Vatika Manesar side. What is the typical commission to pay to a broker these days, who is helping me close a deal?

Thanks!,

Norbert

  • I beleive it's 1% of deal price which is universal acorss NCR until unless you have different terms with the broker.

Nothing is fixed as such. Sold an apartment 7-8 months back in Gurgaon and paid 0.5%. Had sold another apartment a few years back, which was of a small local Builder with real bad construction quality & equally bad location near Palam Vihar, GGN for which almost no customers were available & had paid 1.5%.

Nothing conflicting. To put it in simpler words, Brokers would generally demand 1%, how much u pay depends on your negotiating skills, your urgency of selling, whether Property/location is is in demand or not etc.

Yes, easy to negotiate in bad times, but one can always negotiate in any times:).
