  • Stand Unite Against HUDA Sec 27, 28 42, 43, 57 ENHANCEMENT

As thousands of Huda Plot owners are suffering from this Huda Curse & guess we should address this collectively.

The house owners have been given 30 days' time to deposit the fee - ranging from Rs. 4,678 to Rs. 6,282 per square yard for general category and Rs. 520 to Rs. 805 per square yard for economically weaker section (EWS) category. According to the notice, owners have been directed to make the payment in the bank account of the Estate Officer (EO-II), Huda, by December 31, 2012.

"Interest at the rate of 15% per annum would be charged by the Huda from defaulters," the notice says.

he matter is sub-judice. In a hearing on November 23, the court had asked the Huda to set up a committee of officials and plot owners before deciding on the rate. But the Huda went ahead to slap notices despite acting on the order to form the special panel first"

HUDA should first openly auction all the commercial items of that particular sector , collect money & then decide what is to be demanded from Plot owners.

  • At first Huda is demanding hefty enhanced compensation.

Above all giving the allotees only 30 days period to deposit that amount & after that they will start charging 15 % annual interest on that amount (Completely Insane ).

In all the enhancement related cases HUDA acted as week respondent & lost all the cases & then made all the Plot owners suffered."

Can any one answer following queries

    1. In case of 57 the allotment price was around 4200/sq yard & the enhancement price is 5712/sq yard. Does this make any sense at all.

    2. How can they demand enhancement more than the allotment price.

    3. If something can be done to levy off this huge Interest rate . Least Huda can do is to provide Plot owners some decent interest-free time (like 3 years or so ) .

    4. Above all " Do we have any RTI Activist "on this forum who can enquire about commercial site status of different sectors (whether its being auctioned or not ) .

Yeah, they should have given 3-6 months.

Is today's price same as allotment price? When was the allotment done at 4200 to compare it with 5712 (which has come now)? Wasnt the enhancement expected to be around 8-11000, is there more to come?

    2. How can they demand enhancement more than the allotment price.
Ever heard of time value of money, inflation etc? Whats the circle rate and market price of 57?

    3. If something can be done to levy off this huge Interest rate . Least Huda can do is to provide Plot owners some decent interest-free time (like 3 years or so ) . Agreed but 6 months should be reasonable.

  • RajatK -- I am highlighting here End User concern , not an Investor concern.

Lets talk about a govt employee who got this plot allotted 8 years back & is like retired now .He is left with no option but to sell the plot to accommodate this enhancement ghost.

How would you feel if you are putting up in some xyz flat in some abc society & some day you receive a notice to deposit 10 lacs as enhancement.

  • Preet Ji -- Ya.. to some extent this policy help Plot owners which originally didn't got their Plots allotted in Sec 57 (or similar sectors)

But it also mentions that one has to pay enhancement if he/she has been allotted plot in some different sector as well :(

  • Is anybody has information if any appeal is being filed in before any court or HUDA Administrator for relief in enhancement rates and reasonable time to pay the amount in installments. Any information if plot owners have started paying the lump sum amount. Is there someone who has received demand letter for enhancement amount from HUDA for plots for which even status of handing over of possession of plot in sector 57 is not known.

  • Its like ...people will start reacting once they start receiving Enhancement letter at their respective correspondence addresses , only then we can expect some kind of outburst.

As not many people access Internet & moreover the enhancement news got covered in Delhi Edition of TOI & HT.
