      Earlier 2012 was hailed as the death of ggn real estate

      Majority of projects in ggn have shown a 1000 psft rise since the start of the year.

      Not saying buying blindly on far flung locations at 6000 + is recommnded . But in every market there are good oppotunities to take adavnatge of.

      Its not prudent to be a blind bear neither its sensible to be a over exuberant bull. Excess of everthing results in opportunity or actual losses. Just sticking to one pov and not trying to understand the other sde of story is fatal.

        There is nothing wrong with Gurgaon or with Real Estate..

        Its just with folks who will get left behind when market takes a turn,.. and thats a lot many.

          last year on our visit to India, we took a taxi. Stopped for a quick tea at a roadside stall. offered driver too but he politely refused saying he drinks only coffee and goes only to "proper" coffee shops.

            seems like you have run out of wits & arguments what is why going in this gaddhe / ghoda thing . who is setting the line... a Gadha or a Ghoda?

              Currency is as mystical as indian real estate .... USD gets stronger as US economy weakens. For both, there are good reasons for increase but at the same time they defy logic.

                      This theory has been heard for atleast last 5 years from the experts , but never seem to come through. always wait for one year , abhi aaya ji , abhi next year ji.

                      i have never advocated that prices will always increase, it will be stupid to do so. However over long term it has and it will outpace returns from most of the avenues. i do agree one should never over leverage in any investment , be it RE, gold or stocks.

                      There is a difference of 1000-1500 per square feet between fresh builder rates and resale rates is a FACT.
