A lot of companies are advertising for property citing nearness to Dwarka expressway corridor.

Shilas, Indiabulls Centrum Park and Ramprastha Edge Tower come to mind.

Does anybody have news on when this construction will start and when it is likely to finish? Has the contract been awarded and to whom?
Date of completion and start of operation will be vital news for evaluating the pricing of flats sold in this corridor.

Last I heard was that a few houses in Palam Vihar were slated for demolition for this expressway in May June 09 or thereabouts.

  • Soon, take Hero Honda chowk bypass to go to Jaipur
Chetna Choudhry | TNN | 3 mins ago

Gurgaon: From Monday, commuters heading to Jaipur will no longer be allowed on the main carriageway of the Delhi-Jaipur Expressway. Instead, a 16-metre service lane will be opened up for them, which will bypass the stretch where a flyover is being built, to merge with the e-way near Hero Honda Chowk. The main carriageway will be closed down for the duration of the construction work.
Officials of the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI)said the construction will be done in two phases. In the first, the stretch between Delhi and Jaipur will be blocked. The Jaipur to Delhi carriageway will be blocked in the second phase. The deadline for completion of the Delhi-Jaipur route is October 2016, of the reverse side is May 2017. Signage will be installed 1.5km ahead of the actual diversion. Ashok Sharma, the NHAI project director, said.

Gurgaon: The sagging power cables at Hero Honda Chowk will be lifted with the help of an additional pillar to be erected at the construction stie of Hero Honda flyover.

The decision was made after the power company and National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) realised that increasing the height of the two existing pillars will take at least three months. The cables will be an obstruction to the construction of the flyover, apart from being a safety hazard. Sources said the overhead power lines are sagging as low as 5.3 metres and must be at least 7 metres. Anything less and heavy vehicles passing through the area will come in contact with the wires to a devastating effect.
The risk will increase as the height of the road will rise with the construction of the flyover. It will also hinder the construction works.

Its true that Govt is quite serious on the issue. HT had also launched a 2 week campaign for its removal. Pressure is a lot from e.where. Time line may vary but its sure that it ll go before term.

    http://m.timesofindia.com/city/gurgaon/Kherki-Daula-may-collect-toll-till-2028/articleshow/47322552.cms

    1. MCEPL has permissions till 2023 for recovery of 1600 Cr.
    2. He had this permissions for Border toll too but judiciary intervention got it cleared in one year.
    3. Nothing but a compensation from state / other sources can get this removed.
    4. A strong union of builders / industrialists combined with political will may have their way if they adopt settlement . If it goes into legal entanglement it may take years still.

No its not. You have the incomplete ROB , Padmini Factory in between. You got to take the Basai Road and not Pataudi road for 102.

  • Disheartened to know the latest developments. After so much of push from Center and state, how can HUDA officials be so careless in dealing with the queries of residents. Last hour shocker before the draw process. June 2017 deadline seems to be distant dream for DEW to be operational... Any thoughts guys?
