A lot of companies are advertising for property citing nearness to Dwarka expressway corridor.

Shilas, Indiabulls Centrum Park and Ramprastha Edge Tower come to mind.

Does anybody have news on when this construction will start and when it is likely to finish? Has the contract been awarded and to whom?
Date of completion and start of operation will be vital news for evaluating the pricing of flats sold in this corridor.

Last I heard was that a few houses in Palam Vihar were slated for demolition for this expressway in May June 09 or thereabouts.

    Go check my posts in stock markets thread or even this thread it was me who said three years ago that fmd eway will take long time to complete.
    Your pe experience man it's background that matters most in the world of investment because it's the lineage not the learning which makes the difference.
    Investment is no business of trading it's commitment and ability to see what is hidden from public eye.

  • Yesterday with the initiative of Dwarka Expressway Welfare Association we members jointly took HUDA, CM and other responsible Govt. Authorities on task. At the end got to see someting positive from HUDA Administrator. Seems they are really serious this time to deliver on promises due to pressure being built up from all sides.

    This all is due to HUDA working style and not obeying the HC order.

    UC Ji, please elaborate. These half baked info-bits are more of an irritation for the readers than anything else.
    It is same as me writing a reply to your comment : "The big issue is now solved, thanks to the timely intervention by the a highly placed VVIP. Source : that VVIPs driver".

    UC Ji, I have always admired your insight knowledge of this issue, and have been appreciative of the same despite most of the members not agreeing with the information you had been providing. But you would appreciate the fact that most of the members of this thread who are invested in NPR, have put in their life’s savings into it. I think they deserve to be informed of any information that any of us have. The update that I had so far, based on one of my friend’s meeting with the administrator last Thursday, was that HUDA would have put a list of the eligible evictees on Tuesday, and the draw would have happened on July 31. Now, you post has changed that. We would appreciate if you can elaborate more on your above referred post. Looking forward to your post.

    Wait for couple or few more days to get clear the things, though as per information the problem creator this time is HUDA itself.

    Did you realize if 31st July is the day for draw than why list yet not published, since, there is major issue inside. If anyone ia not ready to abide HC order than problem would always be there.

  • Oustees will get Huda plots at reserve rate

    The development authority will reserve 22% of plots in existing sectors for people whose land was acquired over the past year.

    GURGAON: Huda is about to unveil a new policy for oustees, under which people whose land it acquires to develop sectors will be offered a chance to buy residential plots in sectors developed earlier via lucky draw.

    This will be over and above the compensation, which has already been paid.

    The development authority will reserve 22% of plots in existing sectors for people whose land was acquired over the past year, as they launch development of commercial, residential, institutional and industrial sectors in different urban areas across the state. This will include 10% plots of size 8 marla (242 sq yd) and 12% plots of bigger size.

    The policy will only benefit some of the people whose land was acquired by Huda over the past year. Not all oustees will get plots under the scheme. Only those whose names come up in the lucky draw will be able to buy the plots, at a reserve price.

    In Gurgaon alone, land was acquired from thousands of people over the last year to develop sectors 1-115. Other urban centres where land owners lost property include Faridabad, Palwal, Rewari, Narnoul, Jhajar, Rohtak, Sonipat, Pinjor, etc.

    Several thousands expect to get plots under this policy. Two years ago, Huda had invited applications from them for plots, but some of them approached the court instead, and the lucky draw was cancelled.
