A lot of companies are advertising for property citing nearness to Dwarka expressway corridor.

Shilas, Indiabulls Centrum Park and Ramprastha Edge Tower come to mind.

Does anybody have news on when this construction will start and when it is likely to finish? Has the contract been awarded and to whom?
Date of completion and start of operation will be vital news for evaluating the pricing of flats sold in this corridor.

Last I heard was that a few houses in Palam Vihar were slated for demolition for this expressway in May June 09 or thereabouts.

  • Dears, As there are many senior members in the forum following the post , i would like to ask question about the authenticity of the DE.
    I've seen posts from 2011 ( 6 years old ).

    https://www.indianrealestateforum.com/forum/city-forums/ncr-real-estate/gurgaon-real-estate/17992-beware-of-dwarka-expressway

It seems that no much progress has been done in last 6 years. I'm planning to invest in sector 109 ( Specific: Chintels paradiso ) as end user perspective.

what is the price and when is so called dwarka expressway is supposed to be finished ?

DEW is expensive then new GGN and less developed currently. What would be your suggestion keeping in mind long time perspective? I can wait for 2-3 years for locality to come up. Members and Veterans plz help.

ATS Kocoon has better overall look and ambience, and better location as well, being right on the sector road.
2-3 years a lot of things will happen. Atleast 2 malls/commerical complexes will be operational within a kilometer of this. It is a running road, connectivity is going to be get better.

Not sure how you can say no progress.
Most of the DEW is ready, 6 lane at present, to be expanded to 12/16 lane later. 3-4 small patches where the road remains to be made. Flyover across the railway line to connect the two sections is almost ready, should be operational in a month or so. Water pipelines, drains, sewage laid along the upper DEW roads. Electricity also from the Government supply to a few projects already. Streetlights along the entire 75m road already in place, and on some sector roads as well.

  • HC to rescue of man who wants land back from Huda Bagish Jha| TNN | Updated: Mar 20, 2017, 01.50 AM IST

GURUGRAM: Huda is likely to releasing some of the plots it had acquired for developing Sector 110A after the Punjab and Haryana High Court in its last hearing (on March 16) directed the urban authority to resolve a petitioner's concern.

The urban development authority is going to express its intent to release the landbefore the high court by March 21 in a case related to the rehabilitation of Dwarka expressway oustees without proper documents.

Petitioner Satyendra Singh, whose land had been acquired by Huda to develop Sector 110A, requested Huda administrator on Saturday to release his land. Huda, in turn, has assured to consider his demands.

"We were under the impression that he (petitioner) was one of the oustees and was seeking alternative plots. So in the court we had assured to settle the claim in accordance with the government policy. But the case turned out to be something different," said Huda administrator Yashpal Yadav.

  • Dwarka Expressway: Huda to release land to overcome GPA-SPA legal hurdle Bagish Jha| TNN | Mar 20, 2017, 05.35 PM IST GURUGRAM: Haryana Urban Development Authority (HUDA) is considering releasing some of the land acquired for developing sector 110A. Urban development authority is going to express its intent to release the land before Punjab and Haryana High Court by March 21 in a case related to rehabilitation of Dwarka Expressway oustees without proper documents.

The move is likely to help in getting relief from HC for rehabilitation of oustees to complete the remaining portion of Dwarka Expressway. "The litigations have been lingering since almost a decade and it's worsening the situation for home buyers due to dual burden of rent and EMI. We hope Huda will resolve the issue to complete the remaining portion of Dwarka Expressway and benefit home buyers of project along expressway," said founder of Reckon Mind and home buyer, Prakhar Sahay.

Satyendra Singh, one of the land owner whose land was acquired for developing sector 110A, had filed a petition before HC in September 2016 alleging that genuine oustees of Dwarka Expressway have been denied alternative plots, while allotment of alternative plots were made to general power of attorney (GPA) and special power of attorney (SPA) holders. Petitioner had alleged that Huda had made dubious allotment on the name of GPA and SPA.

Taking cognisance of it, HC in October 2016 had stayed the allotment and directed Huda to submit all the documents related allotment of plots to GPA and SPA virtually putting break on completion of the road.

After several hearing and request from Huda for early resolution of the case, HC on last hearing on March 16 had directed petitioner to give his representation before Huda and urban development body was directed to address the concern of petitioner.

Petitioner Satyendra Singh on Saturday met Huda administrator and requested to release his land, under acquisition. Huda has assured to consider his
    demands.

"We were under impression that he (petitioner) is one of the oustees and seeks alternate plots. So in the court we had assured to settle the claim in accordance with the government policy. But the case turned out to be something different," said Huda administrator Yashpal Yadav. Petitioner's land was acquired for the sector development and now he wants it to be released.

Huda wanted to acquire around 70 acre of to develop sector 110A, but lots of land was released from time to time following litigations from land owners. Now around 9 litigation related to release of 44 marla of plots in 4 different pockets of the sector are pending. "Singh, who is petitioner of GPA, SPA case, is one of the land owners," said Yadav.

He said Huda had release land earlier also in this sector so there would be no problem in releasing land in these pockets. "We will send a positive recommendation to head office. Decision to release the land can be taken at Chief Minister level, after getting consent we will assure court to release the land," said Yadav adding that this will help in resolving the litigation related to Dwarka Expressway.

Earlier the alignment was starting from Shiv Murti on NH8 and going via UER-2 adjacent to IG Airport and then turning towards Farrukhnagar-Manesar just before Najafgarh. However, given the high cost of land acquisition in Delhi and Gurgaon areas, it has now been decided that UER-2 and Dwarka Expressway will be the main feeder road for the new Gurgaon-Jaipur expressway. As it is, Dwarka Expressway has been declared a National Highway and most of the land acquisition problems have been resolved. Also, UER-2 is already being upgraded to a 100 metre wide super expressway to cater for the traffic requirements of the new Bijwasan Railway Station in Sector 21 Dwarka, New ISBT in Sector 22 Dwarka, new Exhibition cum Convention Center (ECC) in Sector 25 Dwarka and new Diplomatic Enclave in Sector 24, Dwarka. There is also a 75 metre road running parallel to the Dwarka Expressway. There are plans to extend the 75 metre road to connect with the new Gurgaon - Jaipur alignment through Farrukhnagar/Manesar. At the Gurgaon end of the Dwarka Expressway, a new Global City is being developed in 1300 acres in Sector 36, Gurgaon. The Dwarka Expressway area is going to be the most modern part of Gurgaon and will become the most preferable locality in the years ahead. Only thing needed is patience for 2 to 3 years.

The 75 Metre road will definitely connect to NPR near the ROB so that you can take the ROB in order to go towards NH8. However, a new road will also be forked out from the 75 metre road in order to connect the new Jaipur expressway without crossing the railway line. It is also possible that the Basai road will be broadened and upgraded upto Farrukhnagar after which it will join the new Jaipur Expressway alignment. Many more concrete details will be available within the next few months. This project is gaining lots of traction due to next assembley elections in Rajasthan (Dec 2018), Haryana (Oct 2019) and Delhi (April 2020).
