A lot of companies are advertising for property citing nearness to Dwarka expressway corridor.

Shilas, Indiabulls Centrum Park and Ramprastha Edge Tower come to mind.

Does anybody have news on when this construction will start and when it is likely to finish? Has the contract been awarded and to whom?
Date of completion and start of operation will be vital news for evaluating the pricing of flats sold in this corridor.

Last I heard was that a few houses in Palam Vihar were slated for demolition for this expressway in May June 09 or thereabouts.

    1. Haryana Govt. has accorded approval to give alternate plots to 27 oustees of Khandsa (New Gurgaon Sec 37). Process started to make drain to stop any water logging on NH.

    2. Rohtash ki Dhani shifting stated and road shall be connected to NPR in a weeks time. This is a parallel road to NH8 which will directly connect IMT Manesar and Dwarka Expressway - NPR.

    3. Huda Admin visited Basai ROB on Dwarka Expressway today for inspection, hopeful that by end of April 2017 this rob will be motorable, previous completion targed was March'17

    4. Speaking order has been issued in BE Automation case and some activity shall start on Dwarka Expressway - NPR near Kherki Daula from tomorrow onwards.

    5. Long pending case no. CWP No.20635 of 2016, CM-1349-CWP-2017 and CM-16163-64-CWP-2016 has been disposed off by Hon'ble Punjab and Haryana High Court and HUDA Admin is confident that any contempt petitions won't affect progress of work.

    Read Judgement of Satyender Singh case where clearly quoted that petitioner no. 4 (vacant plot holder of NPV) those land being acquiring for NPR construction has to be allotted alternate plots otherwise they may proceed for filling plea to release their land.

    In another judgement PHHC issue notices to HA Gurugram and CHA Panchkula for contempt of court and directed them not to acquire vacant land till compensation not paid and possession of alternate plots not made

    Several time I retreated that present HUDA team is working against the law and by their actions they have made agreed rehabilitation and compensation matter more complicated which was very well resolved by earlier team. Now, possession of vacant land can't take over till complete rehabilitation and compensation package not paid which was exempted during FTS.

    Any update regarding connectivity from SPR to NH8,bypassing the toll and through sector 75,76 and 77.

    Whatever HUDA is doing now may be on the advice of their internal legal Team. It is not clear why HUDA is acting against the terms of FTS, and delaying resolution of NPR in the process.

    Is it because there are different interpretations of the FTS?

    Sir,
    You believing what Ulti, is saying he is not judge there who is announcing that Huda working against the law. He is saying that because thinks not going in there favor.
    i know Huda is pathetic till now but this new Admin is serious and he is working to get thinks resolved. They have also allotted the plots but there are some Greedy people who taking the advantage of systems.

    If it's not going in favor of litigants than who is the beneficiary ? Is it HUDA ? If this your understanding than......LWL....LWL (laugh without loud)....I recalled an old song...बाबा मन की ऑंखें खोल रे बाबा....

    6 Contempt petition has been filled and all went against HUDA, apart on daily basis contempt of court notices being issued....don't you forget the judgement of Satyendra singh case....PHHC clearly stated that if petitioner not satisfied with HUDA offer than he may proceed for filling plea for releasing his land which was acquired for NPR construction...Either you don't want to understand direction of Hon'ble PHHC or just want to ignore that deliberately.....

    It's clearly meant for DE-NOTIFICATION OF VACANT LAND....if HUDA wouldn't able to satisfied the outsees.....

  • One more example of the resolve shown by Haryana Govt and HUDA. Around 1 acre land was under acquisition at Hero Honda Chowk since 2005. This land was urgently needed to complete the underpass currently being constructed at Hero Honda Chowk by NHAI. The Sugandh Restaurant owners and other occupants were not accepting monetary compensation and were insisting for alternate plots. The High Court ruled in favour of HUDA yesterday evening. Within a few hours, HUDA sent dozers, demolished all constructions on this land and then handed over the land to NHAI for constructing the underpass. The earlier days of using litigation to delay public infrastructure projects are over. Litigants would be advised to stop using litigation to extract undue benefits.

    GURGAON: Huda has started removing structures from Rohtash Ki Dhani, a hamlet coming in the alignment of the road dividing sectors 84 and 88. The road is expected to be completed in two weeks, and will improve connectivity between Dwarka expressway, and IMT Manesar. Work on the road was delayed to due to trouble with rehabilitation of oustees of Rohtash Ki Dhani, who did not vacate the hamlet even after Huda had allotted alternative land to them.

    "Work on shifting of people and structures from Rohtash ki Dhani has started, and the road should be connected to Dwarka e-way within two weeks," said Huda administrator Yashpal Yadav, adding the road will connect IMT Manesar with the NPR.

    TOI had reported on March 6 about Huda's plan to complete the road even if oustees delay vacating the land. On Sunday, a Huda official said even as the authority was planning to lay a temporary road to ensure traffic movement from the e-way to IMT Manesar, the oustees agreed to vacate the land.

    Huda has already allotted alternative plots to the oustees. "A week back, we met inhabitants of Rohtas Ki Dhani to finalise acquisition of the parcel of land to complete the missing link between Dwarka expressway and IMT Manesar. We managed to convince them that they should vacate the land to allow the road to be completed," said the senior Huda official.

    The urban development authority had planned to connect Dwarka expressway with IMT Manesar via master roads of Sector 84, 85, 86, 87 and 88. Construction of most of the master roads in these new sectors was completed, barring the half-a-kilometre stretch at Rohtas ki Dhani.

    At present, NH-8, also known as Gurgaon-Jaipur expressway, is the only road connecting Delhi with the industrial areas of Manesar. As a result, all the traffic is diverted to this road, leading to constant traffic snarls.

    That's of no benefit to Haryana Government! That has been the info so far. Because Haryana has to foot the bill, providing connectivity between a point in Delhi, passing through few areas of Gurgaon . What benefit they get is why it has been stuck. Wish it was highlighted by NGT to get this up and running
