Huda to give 500 Dwarka e-way oustees plots

By rehabilitating nearly 500 non GPA/SPA oustees, the 18-km stretch will be made motorableBagish Jha | TNN | January 13, 2017, 18:20 IST

GURGAON: To make the Gurgaon portion of the Dwarka expressway motorable by March, Huda has decided to rehabilitate nearly 500 oustees of the project, except the general power of attorney (GPA) and special power of attorney (SPA) holders.

Rehabilitation of oustees is held up due to litigation. Huda had completed draw of lots for allotting alternative plots to oustees, but allotment letters were not issued as the Punjab and Haryana high court had issued a stay on the issuance of the same to oustees with GPA.

"So a high-level meeting was held in Chandigarh two days back and it wasdecided that the urban development authority will issue allotment letters for alternative plots to all non-GPA and non-SPA oustees," Huda administrator Yashpal Yadav told TOI on Thursday.

"The HC has ordered a stay only on the issue of allotment letters of alternative plots to people with GPA and SPA. But there is no stay on issuing allotment letters to those who do not fall into the category of GPA and SPA," said Yadav. "So we have decided to move ahead with the project and intend to make the Dwarka expressway, also known as Northern Peripheral Road (NPR), motorable by March," he added.

A 14.5km-long stretch of the 18-km expressway is in Gurgaon and is nearing completion.

The remaining work is likely to be completed after the rehabilitation process is over. The expressway is incomplete in Kherki Daula and New Palam Vihar.

Jo bola wo ho kar rahega - its plain simple science not a rocket science - waise bhi gurgram has started to going back to its gaon status - I know 10 big companies who have moved out of gurugram to bangalore - 10 big companies means 20k jobs - gurgaon errrr guruGRAM all set to become the village it was once .
there are so many examples all over the world where a region boomed and doomed when it was just dependent on one sector of economy take some cue - act smart get back to somewhere where the economic activities are not limited to one sector

How does it bother you? Do you want everyone to believe that a new Nostradamus has arrived forecasting with frustrated mind, and despite being unwelcome?! What's your trip in life man. Leave DEW investors alone, even if you believe they are in fools paradise. Your language is crass, intended to make mockery of others and you are downright hurting others with your unwanted comments. Don't you get it?

                • Re : NPR - Northern Peripheral Road, Dwarka Expressway, Gurgaon Updates

Been to this area today after a gap of almost a month to check out a few projects and if the reports of the infrastructure development that appeared in the papers are true or not.
First had gone to the SPR are, and then to NPR area.
A lot has happened, and the ROB on the railway line will be operational by next month end as per the workers there. All the beams of one side are already made, last section curing is going on. Other side work has started on the last section.
The Bajghera flyover work has started and that road is blocked, so a 5 min detour to come on to this road.
Road is running, there was a fair bit of traffic.
Even on a sunday, bulldozers etc could be seen working at a good pace.
Apparently the water lines from the water treatment plant all the way to NPV area and along some of the sector roads already complete.
Lots of families and people seen there, some sitting in the brokers tents looking for purchasing property no doubt.
Some commercial complexes superstructures almost complete. So probably another 6-9 months by the time they are operational.
However it took just about 7-10 minutes to get across for a late lunch in one of the restaurants in old Gurgaon.
Did not see the start of the construction of internal sector road for 2-3 projects as had been told by the developer's rep last time there, even though the broker had said that its not happening anytime soon.
The main sector road there had functioning streetlights, which was a surprise considering that some of the sector roads in other areas of Gurgaon haven't got streetlights even after all these years.
Some bits of information given by the broker regarding the NPV case and the connectivity to Delhi, lets see if that comes true.
