The Airport Line of the Delhi Metro will be extended till Dwarka Sector 25, where a new underground station will be built near an upcoming international convention centre. The Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) has invited bids for the construction of the 1.5-km-long extension and the station. Currently, the high-speed corridor runs between THE New Delhi station and Dwarka Sector 21. The metro floated the tender recently while the feasibility survey of the project was undertaken last year, after the Centre proposed that the convention centre be brought under the fold of the high-speed metro network.

Should be about 2 to 2.5 Kms. This would be the tentative location of this Metro Station as shown in map. It's the same junction where Dwarka Expressway will connect to UER II and take a right turn towards NH8.

Google "DXPWA" to join Association of Dwarka Expressway home buyers.

Plots for Dwarka Expressway oustees soon to clear way for sector roads

The sectors 91 to 115 are developed along the Dwarka expressway and a large number of residential and commercial projects are coming up in these areasBagish Jha | TNN | July 14, 2017, 18:00 IST

GURUGRAM: Connectivity of new sectors 91- 115 is likely to get a boost, with the construction of master roads. To pave the way for the construction of master roads, stuck due to delay in land acquisition, Huda is going to allot alternative plots to oustees.

"We are going to allot alternative plots to the oustees to take possession of the land that will pave the way for construction of master roads of sectors 91 to 115," said Huda administrator Yashpal Yadav, adding that land acquisition in sectors 58 to 90 has been completed and construction of roads are in different stages.

The sectors 91 to 115 are developed along the Dwarka expressway and a large number of residential and commercial projects are coming up in these areas. Some of the projects have been completed and many others are in advanced stages of completion.

"Work is in progress to complete the remaining portion of the expressway and now they are expediting the construction of master roads of the sectors, which will pave the way for better connectivity of the sectors with the expressway," Yadav said.

To complete the acquisition for master roads of sectors 58-115, Huda has divided the sectors into five different zones — 58-67, 68-74, 75-80, 81-90 and 91-115.

These have put an additional burden on cash-strapped Huda, which is first focussing on acquisition to complete the master roads in new sectors. Officials said the urban development authority is planning to complete the master roads at the earliest, as several thousand people have already moved into their homes in these new sectors.

"Many projects are in advanced stages but there are no civic amenities in place. Once the master roads are built other civic amenities like water supply lines and drainage can be developed," said Sushant Singh, who owns a flat in Sector 103.

"Along with the construction of master roads, authorities should also ensure completion of the remaining portion of Dwarka expressway," he added.

Fresh push for Dwarka e-way: Manohar Lal Khattar to meet Gadkari

                Bagish Jha| TNN | Jul 17, 2017, 02:49 AM IST

GURUGRAM: Chief minister Manohar Lal Khattar will meet Union road and highway minister Nitin Gadkari on July 20, to give the Dwarka Expressway project a fresh push.

This will be the first time the two will be meeting since June, when NHAI issued notification granting national highway status (NH-248BB) to the 28km-long road.

NHAI is currently preparing a detailed project report (DPR) for construction of the portions of the e-way which remain to be built. This includes acquiring land for a stretch in Delhi. "The CM will also discuss other issues related to the Expressway with the Union minister," said a senior government official.

Of the road's 18.1km that falls in Gurgaon, only a stretch of around 1.4km in New Palam Vihar (~1 km) and Kherki Daula village (~400 metre) remains to be built. In Delhi, a 6.5km stretch from Shiv Murti to Bharthal Chowk is part of the existing UER-II. The remaining 3.4km stretch, from Bharthal Chowk to the Delhi-Haryana border, needs to be built. Flyovers across the expressway have been proposed at intersections. NHAI is also planning to connect sector and other roads in adjoining areas with the Expressway. "Sector and other roads will be given access to the Expressway, but in some cases, where two roads are expected to merge with the Expressway at very close distance, NHAI has submitted some queries with Huda, as access to the Expressway can't be given at close intervals," said Hudaadministrator Yashpal Yadav. NHAI has asked Huda to respond before the meeting is held. Basai road, for example, overlaps with the proposed road dividing sectors 99 and 102. The two roads are also close by. NHAI has asked Huda to confirm which one should be given access to the Expressway. Similarly, the Kherki Majra village road, also known as Dhanwapur road, near the road dividing sectors 103 and 102A, are adjacent. "Dhanwapur road is not shown in the development plan. The road dividing sectors 102A and 103 does not cross the Expressway. Huda will have to confirm which road is to be considered for developing an interchange," said NHAI in its communication to Huda.

"Huda superintendent engineer has been asked to survey the area and take a decision on these," said Yadav, adding they will soon communicate the status of roads to NHAI.
