A lot of companies are advertising for property citing nearness to Dwarka expressway corridor.

Shilas, Indiabulls Centrum Park and Ramprastha Edge Tower come to mind.

Does anybody have news on when this construction will start and when it is likely to finish? Has the contract been awarded and to whom?
Date of completion and start of operation will be vital news for evaluating the pricing of flats sold in this corridor.

Last I heard was that a few houses in Palam Vihar were slated for demolition for this expressway in May June 09 or thereabouts.

    हूडा ने नॉर्दर्न पेरिफेरल रोड (एनपीआर) की राह में आ रही रुकावटों को दूर करने की तैयारियां तेज कर दी हैं। 150 मीटर चौड़ी इस रोड पर अब तारों का जाल नजर नहीं आएगा। इन तारों को अंडरग्राउंड किया जाएगा। यह प्लान बिजली निगम व हूडा ने तैयार किया है। इसे मंजूरी के लिए उच्चाधिकारियों के पास भेजा गया है। इस प्लान पर करीब ढाई करोड़ रुपये खर्च किए जाएंगे।


    प्लान पर खर्च होंगे ढाई करोड़ रुपये

    एनपीआर की राह में 11, 33, 66, 132 व 220 केवीए की एचटी (हाईटेंशन) लाइन आ रही हैं। इन लाइनों की वजह से 12.5x2 मीटर चौड़ी सड़क का निर्माण कार्य भी प्रभावित हो रहा है। जून में ऐडमिनिस्ट्रेटर डॉ. प्रवीण कुमार ने हूडा, एचएसआईआईडीसी व बिजली निगम के अधिकारियों की बैठक ली थी। इसमें निर्देश जारी किया गया था कि एचटी लाइनों को अंडरग्राउंड करने का काम जल्द शुरू किया जाए। हूडा के आग्रह पर बिजली निगम ने 66 से 220 केवीए लाइनों को अंडरग्राउंड करने का प्लान तैयार कर लिया है, जिसमें करीब डेढ़ करोड़ रुपये खर्च होंगे। हूडा ने इस प्लान से चीफ इंजीनियर ऑफिस को अवगत करा दिया है। अब उनसे राशि उपलब्ध करवाने की मांग की जा रही है। इसके अलावा हूडा की इलेक्ट्रिकल विंग ने भी 11 व 33 केवीए की लाइनों को अंडरग्राउंड करने का प्लान तैयार किया है। इसमें करीब 1 करोड़ 10 लाख रुपये खर्च होंगे। इसको लेकर टेंडर भी आमंत्रित किए जा चुके हैं। माना जा रहा है कि अगस्त से लाइनों को अंडरग्राउंड करने का काम शुरू कर दिया जाएगा।

    एचएसआईआईडीसी से मांगी जमीन

    एनपीआर के हिस्से में हरियाणा स्टेट इंडस्ट्रियल एंड इन्फ्रास्ट्रक्चर डिवेलपमेंट कॉरपोरेशन (एचएसआईआईडीसी) की जमीन भी आ रही है। इस जमीन की वजह से करीब 500 मीटर हिस्सा नहीं बन पा रहा है। अब हूडा व एचएसआईआईडीसी के अधिकारियों ने संयुक्त सर्वे कर पाया है कि इस हिस्से को लेकर उन्हें 52 एकड़ 7 कनाल जमीन की आवश्यकता है। हूडा ने एचएसआईआईडीसी से कहा है कि जमीन जल्द से जल्द उन्हें हैंडओवर की जाए। यह जमीन गांव हरसरू में चाहिए।

    For smooth and faster traffic flow, the Ministry of Road Transport and Highway has decided to construct four-lane roads from Dwarka in Delhi to Dhansa-Badli-Jhajjar (Haryana). The total length of the lane would be 25 kms and the project cost is estimated at around Rs 222 crore.

    This will be a direct route to Indira Gandhi International Airport for traffic coming from Jhajjar, Badli and Najafgarh. The road will be constructed adjacent to single-lane road along bank of drain number 8 (Najafgarh drain) to join Jhajjar to Dwarka and IGI airport. This road will serve as a bypass and there will be great relief from regular traffic jams in Najafgarh.

    The proposal has been approved by the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways, the Haryana Government and Delhi Chief Minister Sheila Dikshit. The Delhi Government has decided to appoint consultant for feasibility report on the project. The road falling in Haryana’s jurisdiction will be constructed by the State Government while the Delhi Government will construct its own part of the road. The project will be funded by the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways.

    Delhi PWD Minister Raj Kumar Chauhan told The Pioneer that PWD would soon start the process to appoint consultant for the project on the part of the Delhi Government. “This is a new connectivity and approval of the Unified Traffic and Transportation Infrastructure (Planning & Engineering) Centre and Delhi Urban Arts Commission will be required,” he said.

    The Minister said that earlier, a rough estimate amounting to Rs 117 crore was submitted by the PWD. Later, they submitted a proposal of Rs 150 crore that includes one four-lane flyover and road signages. Later on, they submitted a modified estimate of Rs 222 crore.

    The portion from Dhansa to Dwarka Mor along bank of drain no 8 is 25.1 kms and is single-lane having normal intensity at present. Most of the traffic from Jhajjar and Outer West Delhi take this route to reach Dwarka, Gurgaon and IGI Airport but being a single-lane road the movement of two-way traffic is not safe and widening of this road into four lanes was felt essential.

    People of this region have been raising this demand for a long time as the district does not have even a two-lane road to Delhi. With the construction of this road a large part of Haryana would be directly connected to Delhi as it would also make easy access to AIIMS-II being set up at Badsa village under Bahadurgarh subdivision.

    Moreover, this road will be a direct approach to KMP Expressway near Badli from the national Capital.

    द्वारका-गुड़गांव एयरपोर्ट एक्सप्रेस लाइन के संचालन के लिए दिल्ली मेट्रो रेल कॉरपोरेशन (डीएमआरसी) ने 2 एमवीए बिजली की डिमांड की थी, जिसे हरियाणा विद्युत प्रसारण निगम (एचवीपीएन) ने मंजूरी दे दी है। विभिन्न पावर स्रोतों से डीएमआरसी को यह बिजली 2016 तक मिलेगी। इसके अलावा आपात परिस्थितियों में डीएमआरसी ने 4.2 एमवीए बिजली की मांग की है, जिसकी वैकल्पिक व्यवस्था 220 केवी पावर सबस्टेशन से की जाएगी।

    बिजली आपूर्ति के लिए मेट्रो ने सेक्टर-18 मारुति उद्योग या सेक्टर 23 पालम विहार में से किसी एक स्थान पर सबस्टेशन बनाने के लिए भी अनुमति मांगी है। लेकिन अभी जगह फाइनल नहीं की गई है। गौरतलब है कि एयरपोर्ट मेट्रो एक्सपे्रस कॉरिडोर 12 किमी लंबा होगा, जिस पर महज 14 मिनट में सफर तय होगा।

    डीपीआर पर मंजूरी मिलते ही होगा काम शुरू
    दिल्ली मेट्रो रेल कॉरपोरेशन के एक अधिकारी के अनुसार, इस कॉरिडोर की डीटेल प्रोजेक्ट रिपोर्ट (डीपीआर) तैयार हो चुकी है। हूडा को फरवरी में डीपीआर सौंप दी गई थी। लेकिन हूडा की तरफ से इसे मंजूरी नहीं मिली है। अधिकारी का कहना है कि हूडा की ओर से डीपीआर पर मंजूरी मिलने के बाद ही इसे केंद्र सरकार के पास भेजा जाएगा और वहां से अंतिम मंजूरी मिलने के बाद निर्माण कार्य शुरू किया जाएगा।
    इस रूट पर बनेंगे 4 एलिवेटिड स्टेशन

    इस प्रोजेक्ट के पूरा बन जाने के बाद द्वारका सेक्टर 21 से इफ्को चौक तक का सफर महज 14 मिनट में पूरा हो जाएगा। अधिकारी के अनुसार, इस सफर के बीच 4 स्टेशन के निर्माण का प्रस्ताव है। ये चारों स्टेशन एलिवेटेड बनाए जाएंगे। द्वारका सेक्टर-21 की ओर से पहला स्टेशन हरियाणा-दिल्ली बॉर्डर, दूसर स्टेशन सेक्टर-23, तीसरा स्टेशन सेक्टर 18 और अंतिम स्टेशन इफ्को चौक होगा। मेट्रो अधिकारियों के अनुसार द्वारका से गुड़गांव की कनेक्टिविटी होने के बाद यात्रियों को इतनी दूरी तय करने में जितना समय लगता था, उसमंे आधे घंटे की बचत होगी। इसके अलावा, द्वारका से गुड़गांव आने और फिर राजीव चौक की ओर जाने में भी लगभग इतने ही समय की बचत होगी।

    Use simple logic... when prices increase...Prices increase in stages i.e.
    1. Pre-launch
    2. Launch
    3. start of construction
    4. You are able to see tower come out of ground.
    5. visible progress in other towers.
    so on...

    In this aspect.... Ansal is still best buy. At around 4200 in resale ...its a steal. You cant get better project then this which such a location.

    Go for Ansal and sell in one to one-and-a-half year. It will give you 600~800 Rs. per sq ft return.

  • Can any one provide the construction status of dwarka expressway ? Is it still under fullpace of construction or being stopped due to well known reasons?
    Do post some updated pictures if available to any one, it will give us pleasure that work is still under progress and hope alives in our heart that one day dwarka expressway will come.
