A lot of companies are advertising for property citing nearness to Dwarka expressway corridor.

Shilas, Indiabulls Centrum Park and Ramprastha Edge Tower come to mind.

Does anybody have news on when this construction will start and when it is likely to finish? Has the contract been awarded and to whom?
Date of completion and start of operation will be vital news for evaluating the pricing of flats sold in this corridor.

Last I heard was that a few houses in Palam Vihar were slated for demolition for this expressway in May June 09 or thereabouts.

This section of dway is almost completed and will only improve with sector road, nh8 and west side of Delhi- Alwar Line Connectivity. For now will have alternative NH8 expressway for airport and the usual jams at the tolls. TOLL SHOULD GO if this area has to justify 7-10K + prices

    GCX projects are nearing completion and Sohna Road is more habitable than ever before..They do not have many locational and connectivity handicaps but are not closer to Delhi/Airport until the 16 lane dlf comes up and people are able to connect to Airport through Metro/rapid metro combination. SPR is unfortunate though 90% complete for the last 3 years.

    Commemorating Womens Day, wish views on IREF be fact based, panoramic and not with the spirit of "Uski Saree Meri Saree Se Safed Kaise" and less speculative. The vision is quiet clear and IREF gives a 360 degree assessment of all the ggn micro markets with every single development.

    For investors, the last 4 year appreciations have been MORE or LESS same for all micro markets and for varied Residential housing formats.

    The test will be with Delivery, Connectivity and Resale, so far so good and hope all fair well.

    Blessu, which sectors in your opinion would be inhabitable earlier in your opinion, the 100's or the 11x's? Which sectors depend to a lesser extent on Dway, for e.g there could be a patch of road that could come up earlier before the rest of dway is operational considering problems exist on both sides.

    Sir, either it goes up , down, or wait n watch ., if no movement ..and with no expected good news coming soon ....then I am sorry to say its going down pretty fast & now it's all about who breaks first .
    End users won't be coming in till they dont see a resolution in DEW mess .,
    All brokers generally conscientious being resale is dead with big upfronts , good deals are a dime a dozen .

    Dwarka expressway delay is no more as big an issue as the wide sector roads (as in rest of ibdia and Gurgaon) will serve connectivity ALONGWITH the DE in its half glory of 70 per cent length.

    Two master roads of 60+12+12mtrs= 84 mtrs will connect
    the bypass road, 75+12+12=99 mts
    with dway currently on 42 mtrs.

    Currently Dway which is much smaller in width than most other roads but will be 150 mtrs once completed. Earthwork on balance beyond 42 is visible as per some pics shared earlier. When will this conclude into 150 mtrs is debatable.

    - more than a dozen bottlenecks effecting completion of dway

    these are data points and facts good for discussions.

    Basic point is that this does not offer end to end and uninterrupted connectivity without ROB, Delhi connectivity, connectivity with NH8!! Reason of frustration for investment decision with a 5 yrs perspective or end use in that duration is that none of the essential working for end to end connective has even been initiated till now.

    One can only wait and watch or stay cool for period more than 5 yrs in expectation of these things to happen. Most endusers dont have that kind of patience.

    Hi,
    Can someone provide a brief 101 on dew....no conclusions but just facts.
    I have read through last 10 pages or so but obviously don't have guts to read 650+ pages.

    Understand that there are people looking at dew both as half full or half empty so don't want conclusions but if there is summary of facts or factors, that would be helpful
