A lot of companies are advertising for property citing nearness to Dwarka expressway corridor.

Shilas, Indiabulls Centrum Park and Ramprastha Edge Tower come to mind.

Does anybody have news on when this construction will start and when it is likely to finish? Has the contract been awarded and to whom?
Date of completion and start of operation will be vital news for evaluating the pricing of flats sold in this corridor.

Last I heard was that a few houses in Palam Vihar were slated for demolition for this expressway in May June 09 or thereabouts.

    Current prices have dway factor already built in them and are futuristic..
    Various works as earlier mentioned will take more than 5 years ONCE Started.

    Huda is a pathetic and HIGHLY CORRUPT department.

    Statements made BY BADE BAUJI are always falsified by their actions or the lack of it. Someone said he has confirmed all demands are met.. some stupid hindi newspaper published a deceiving news and all fell for it..

    यह जमीन सेक्टर 76, 77, 78, 81 से 95 तक में बुनियादी सुविधाएं मुहैया करवाने को लेकर अधिग्रहण की गई है। इस जमीन पर 66 केवीए से 220 केवीए तक इलेक्ट्रिक सब स्टेशन बनाने के अलावा पानी, सीवेज आदि की पाइपलाइन डाली जाएगी।
    67.8 एकड़ जमीन का किया जाना है अधिग्रहण
    हूडा के आग्रह पर जमीन अधिग्रहण विभाग ने पिछले साल 12 जून को जमीन अधिग्रहण एक्ट 1894 के तहत 9 गांवों को जमीन अधिग्रहण के नोटिस जारी किए थे। इसमें गांव ढोरका की 14.325 एकड़, वजीरपुर की 3 एकड़, हयातपुर की 10.9563 एकड़, बढ़ा की 1.075 एकड़, नाहरपुर कासन की 2.975 एकड़, कांकरौला की 12 एकड़, नवादा फतेहपुर की 3.06 एकड़, शिकोहपुर की 18.3737 एकड़, नौरंगपुर की 2.0375 एकड़ जमीन का अधिग्रहण किया जाना है।

    These sub-stations are only upto sector 95, and another 10 sub-stations from sector 99 to 115 for 66kv and 220kv till date only the land acquisition notification under section-4 notified and as I informed at several places hundreds of objections has already been filled against these notification.

    All these 10 stations are either side of Deway and without completing it there will be no use at all since the main feeder HT lines running parallel to Exway.

    TO NA BIJLI NA PANI NA HI SEWERAGE LINE NIKALNI DEWAY TERI YEHI KAHANI....

    Jahan tak DDA ki baat hi woh apna kaam niklvana achi tarah jante hain.

    Without exway even you can't get a glass of drinking water forget about the Bijli, Sadak and sewerage system. When at several places patches are unavailable than how do you get all these basic facility.

  • Bhallaji: You are right on this one as HUDA wants to negotiate from the position of strength and is slowly encircling the Dway litigants by tendering/awarding/ executing as many Public Works as possible before approaching Courts so that it becomes a no-brainer for the Court to decide. This will also force the next Govt. in Haryana to carry on with this project, if Congress does not come to power.

    I do not think any Court in India can order the kind of compensation being demanded by litigants. So in the end, i think, Litigants will take HUDA's current offer, which may be sweetened a little bit more rather than wait on for a Court offered solution.

    Why this logic didn't work in NeharPar Faridabad and people had to protest on streets?

    And even in Noida Extension;It was farmers who won the case.

    The merits of the case would be the most important factor.

  • Nehar par was a clear case of the authorities sleeping , nothing else , Whereas Authorities have got a big Danda on their Ass from Mr Hooda to clear this mess of Eway....

    Noida Extension was a case of land being handed over to private parties , There was no Roads/sewer/Electricity lines involved , In this case The land is not being taken to be given to a Raheja/ Chintels etc , Its being taken for the greater public interest i.e the Necessities of life
    Stop comparing apples to oranges , Dont mention things which you dont have full information for.

  • I know about the Noida Extension issue somewhat can tell the difference with Dway issue.

    Noida farmers' land was acquired for Public use purposes but was later given to Private developers and this was the reason Court struck the acquisition down.

    Whereas the Dway area lands have been sold willingly and directly by Farmers to Builders.

    So now the issue is of few hundred Dway litigants standing in the way. Even the HC has not questioned the acquistion but has directed the Govt to come up with a suitable rehabilitation package for the displaced.

    Another parallel is Delhi Metro where any house/property that came in the way demolished because of public interest.

    Hope i have made the right points....
