A lot of companies are advertising for property citing nearness to Dwarka expressway corridor.

Shilas, Indiabulls Centrum Park and Ramprastha Edge Tower come to mind.

Does anybody have news on when this construction will start and when it is likely to finish? Has the contract been awarded and to whom?
Date of completion and start of operation will be vital news for evaluating the pricing of flats sold in this corridor.

Last I heard was that a few houses in Palam Vihar were slated for demolition for this expressway in May June 09 or thereabouts.

    I'm planning to pull the trigger on this. Can some one please advise when it will be livable.

    If I don't live, will I be able to sell it off with some good return.

    If I buy should I go for 35:65 plan (Rs. 5350 per sq ft) or resale.

    Thus overall close to 200acres of area will be offered for possession in 2015. Added to that hopefully there is visible progress with respect to adjacent diplomatic enclave.

    Even assuming part of the houses will belong to investors, hopefully there will be sufficient end users that will move in 2015 to pressure authorities to resolve outstanding issues regarding connectivity and infrastructure. Amen!

    SC might not even entertain this cases,we don't know yet.
    That's different discusion.
    Main point is to rehabilitate people.The last interim order is clear indicating that court is not against Expway.
    Regarding connectivity that issue will also get resolved.Nothing is easy in our country,it's like pulling teeth.

    Today's Times of India has follwoing Land Acquisition notice for Sector Roads, Green Belt in 100+ sectors. It should for the internal roads as 24m etc, as main sector dividing roads of 75m & 60m roads are already been made.

    Internal Sector Roads in Sector 113/114, 106/109, 102/102A of Dhankot & Bajghera areas.

    One interesting point to check at the bottom of notice.

    "The acquisition notice is served under section 6 with provision of section 24 (1) of Right to Fair Compensation & Trancsperency in Land acquisition, Rehabilitation and Resettlement Act 2013.

    Now if we come back to recent order regarding Dwarka expressway, Hon. High court has suggested the above is the one of the alternative (Which Huda is not forced to accept/reject).

    - It is good that now HUDA has an advantage and flexibility been given by the Hon. High court.

    - It is very likely that in the next hearing when HUDA presents the compensation policy. Hon. court will approve it (In line with circle rates, Govt rates only not the unreasonable high valuation being claimed) and cases can be disposed off quickly in next couple of hearings.

    - The time given by Hon. court for the re-alignment request by Shilendra Jain (Litigant's Lawyer) was one week.......which is over now......(It is interesting to know now if it was just an excuse to get the next date or they have some land for alternative route).

    - Got some of the information from the people living closer to litigation area that now lots of meetings taking place back to back and Panic is already with the litigants that now the game of multiple cases filling and misusing and taking unfair advantage of the Democratic legal system is over.

    - Hon. court has also understood this trick ......this is the main reason now all the cases will be over in one shot. Now no more Hanky-Panky stuff will be entertained to just misguiding by Tareek pe Takeer request system......(Just to Delay ....not to get any Justice)

    Lets see how things move forward.....

    Not sure if it would come on recently acquired land from SAHARA. yesterday watched the interview of Mr. Bansal on CNBC. He said they will launch Residential at minimum price of Rs. 10,000/- psf. When questioned on NPV litigation.....he said it would be resolved in 2015 as govt is pushing for it.

    Having bought 185 acres of land in Gurgaon from Sahara group, realty firm M3M India today said it will develop a world-class mixed-use project, comprising housing, commercial and hotels, with an expected sales revenue of Rs 12,000 crore over the next 6-8 years.
    Gurgaon-based company is also exploring the possibility of roping in international developers, financial institutions and private equity firms to develop this ambitious project, which could entail an investment of over Rs 4,000 crore.
    M3M India Pvt Ltd, which currently has 2,000 acres of land in an around Gurgaon, is developing 14 projects, including its flagship 75-acre project ‘M3M Golf Estate’, covering about 11 million sq ft of built up area.
    Announcing the big-ticket land deal, M3M India Director Pankaj Bansal said: “We have acquired 185 acres of land in Delhi-NCR from Sahara group for Rs 1,211 crore… This is one of the biggest land deals in recent history in Delhi-NCR.”
    This is the company’s second major land deal. In 2012, M3M had bought 28 acre of prime land in Gurgaon from the country’s largest developer DLF for Rs 440 crore.
    “We will come up with a high-end mixed-use development project on this land comprising branded homes, service apartments, offices, retail, hotels and entertainment centres. We are expecting sales revenue of Rs 12,000 crore from this project,” Bansal said.
    The company would also have medical, educational and sports facilities in the project.
    M3M India would be shortly applying for approvals to develop this project which is expected to be launched in the last quarter of 2015 and get completed in the next 6-8 years.
    Asked about total investment on project, Bansal said: “It is too premature to estimate but it will be about one-third of the estimated sales revenue.”
    On funding of this project, he said the company would fund the project cost largely from internal accruals.
    He also said that M3M is looking at partnering with international developers, financial institutions and private equity firms.

    They will not use own land for exhibition ground. They will get special zoned land allotted from govt. Maybe even SEZ land.

    Own land they will sell commercial and residential and hotels with carrot of closeness to exhibition ground.

    Regardless this is positive for DEW development. I have no doubt that this region will be a major growth area in next decade.
