A lot of companies are advertising for property citing nearness to Dwarka expressway corridor.

Shilas, Indiabulls Centrum Park and Ramprastha Edge Tower come to mind.

Does anybody have news on when this construction will start and when it is likely to finish? Has the contract been awarded and to whom?
Date of completion and start of operation will be vital news for evaluating the pricing of flats sold in this corridor.

Last I heard was that a few houses in Palam Vihar were slated for demolition for this expressway in May June 09 or thereabouts.

As of now, how long would it take to drive from NH-8 EXIT to TATA Gurgaon Gateway sector 112 in normal traffic situation?

    Kind regards
    PP Gupta

    Dear Mr. Gupta,

In normal traffic situation, time from NH-8 via Dwarka Link Road, Village Bamnoli, Najafgarh Road, Bajghera Road route till Tata Gurgaon Gateway will take around 20-25 minutes. The time will get reduced by 5 minutes once Bijwasan flyover gets operational, then route would be straight via Najafgarh Road and no need to route via Dwarka Link Road and Village Bamnoli...

  • I think Noida walon ko Gurgaon hajam nahi ho raha hai......

DEW is the continuation of Sector 22-23 road Dwarka and
75 M road (parallel to DEW) is the continuation of Golf course road at sector 19-23 Dwarka.

    Thanks

  • Nothing good....HUDA is going to lose the case and at any time acquisition could get cancelled in absence of consent.

So far govt machinery is busy in collusion with builders to some how delay the verdict by rotating judges frequently and asking more time for settlement. However,  these colluded attempts are failing to offload inventory in meantime before market get crash after verdict.

LET'S IGNORE PESSIMISTS & THEIR VIEWS, WHICH ARE ANYHOW UNWARRANTED. SUCH GUYS WILL ALWAYS BE THERE TRYING TO DEMORALISE THEMSELVES FIRST AND TRY TO DEMORALISE OTHERS IGNORING POSITIVE THINGS HAPPENING. THEY ARE AGAINST DEVELOPMENT. THEY WOULD NEVER APPRECIATE ANY POSITIVE THING HAPPENING.

No further debate on this subject please.

  • On SEZ land, a global smart city

    26th March, 2015

    The Times of India

About 800 acres of the total land the Haryana government got back from Reliance Haryana SEZ Limited (RHSL) in February last year will be developed as a global city having all the attributes of a smart city as the Narendra Modi government has envisioned.

About 800 acres of the total land the Haryana government got back from Reliance Haryana SEZ Limited (RHSL) in February last year will be developed as a global city having all the attributes of a smart city as the Narendra Modi government has envisioned.

"The city shall be one of its kind in India. It will be designed by integrating smart community concepts ranging from water supply and power to integration of IT services in managing various utilities of the area. The project components would include festive and leisure (components), including an exhibition and convention centre, high value innovation and knowledge industries, central business district and township etc," says the concept note on the global city.

The project will be developed by a special entity through a 50:50 partnership between the Haryana State Industrial & Infrastructure Development Corporation (HSIIDC) and Delhi Mumbai Industrial Corridor Development Corporation (DMICDC).

While the state finance minister said on March 24 his government would investigate how the previous Bhupinder Singh Hooda government did not invite bids for the scrapped SEZ project, the new government seems to be keen on the global city project in the outskirts of Gurgaon.

In response to an RTI application filed by a Gurgaon-based activist, Aseem Takyar, the HSIIDC said DMICDC has appointed a consultant for preparing the master plan for the global city project. Sources in DMICDC said the state agency is working on the site boundary.

According to the RTI reply, the board of directors of HSIIDC had approved the setting up of a joint venture in its meeting on March 14, 2014. "Work is going on and the project may be rolled out by the end of this year," a government source said.

The concept note also mentioned that any excess land would be reserved for an exclusive township of HSIIDC and its "monetization to compensate for the opportunity cost of the land".
