  • License Cancelled (for Countrywide Promoter Pvt. Ltd)

I stumbled upon a license cancellation notice on tcp haryana's website. It says the license No. 58 of 2010, under name of "Countrywide Promoter Pvt. Ltd", for land measuring 108.62 acres, in sector 102 / 102A stands CANCELLED / WITHDRAWN

This project is seemingly BPTP (Amstoria etc)

Yes, you are very right. And RTM also where all the towers are offered possession. Recent fashion among builders is to offer two towers out of 24 for possession and declare their project ready-to-move.

this sounds like a scam. A congress government cancelling licence of damadji . Where were they when BPTP missed the deadline why after two years when people have already invested 70-8-% of the total cost. Lets hope other developers don't follow this lead, game is simple don't pay some paltry 80-90 Cr to the authorities, authorities sleep for a couple of years, people pay 80% of the cost, now have some random official sign a letter cancelling the licence, the project gets stuck for next 2-3 years use this money for elections, and if there is an escalation clause invoke it and milk the investors some more.

I am all the time saying the real bubble burst is not fall in price by 10-20%. That is manageable people will make losses but it long run things will recover. The real problem is manmy many builders are virtually bankrupt and many will not handover flats/houses to people
I am afraid people may just not get possesion at all . Builders may just flee away with the money
Ps: Those who feel its a exaggeration , please see Sahara scam of 20k crore.

People invested in such houses, cut losses and get out before its too late. P-reserve your capital . Time is slowly running out. We will see such defaults for years to come now. And there is no law in india, very unlikely to get money back
