Hello all,

I am a new member of the forum. I am originally from India, but I live in US now. I am a real estate investor in US and I am looking to diversify and do some real estate investment in and around Delhi (Gurgaon, Noida, etc.)

I wanted to see what other experienced members suggest about investing in the area.

Any feedback will be much appreciated.

Thanks!

  • Fixed deposit is a good diversification away from Real estate.
Pls dont pump in money in real estate, it will just make it expensive for native Indians (like your american indians) to afford property!

  • I would not say that rich NRI's have enough money to invest but first you need to ans what the reason for investing and whats the ROI you looking at and whats your comfort zone in terms of amount.. Do you want to make get monthly returns then Fd's are best better than 2% per month. NRI gds get you over 9% with no tax on amount and you can't get better than that approach and MNC bank lots of scenes for nri's . Real setae for nri is very tricky lots of taxes so watch out
