To compensate the loss, the authorities also hiked the land allotment rates too by 12.5 percent.
At a meeting of Noida, Greater Noida and Yamuna Expressway Authorities board held here, the land compensation and land allotment rates have been hiked by 12.5 percent, Board Chairman Mohinder Singh told a press conference.
Several areas of Greater Noida and Yamuna Expressway, particularly Bhatta Parsaul, have seen farmers'' agitation on the issue of land acquisition and violent clashes between farmers and the police. ."
