Bilkul bhai, we are also part of same system. In general i think that if u get money beyond a certain limit it loses its importance and only blind greed remains...we are all foolish to run so much before money..including me...remember the story...sala boss motu walk kar raha hai..doctor said walk walk more , aur sala driver AC Mercedes mein chal raha hai...
Anyways lets hope we maintain a balance between need n greed..

Whatever he did for his own brothers, I dont know but he reserves no right to kill his brother.

Ponty Chadha will be remembered for his corruption and his end justifies the way he led his life.

Bought back memories of Pramod Mahajan's killing . One more high profile family feud.
Real guru... the best way to describe your posts on this forum is -

" I've agreed to disagree on everything...!!! "

Why r ur facts never correct ??? And what surprises me is your ability to never know the real truth - but keep posting things with little knowledge...!!! I mean even the media didnt know the real story ... but u already do !!!

Anyways - ur facts are again not correct... Ponty didnt shoot his bro... it was the other way round - and he killed him in his car - not in the house... !!!

Now please dont question me about this issue further - cause my house is just 50 feet away from the chadha family in Moradabad... been family friends with them for last 2 generations...!!!

So r u attending the Chautha with me !!!

He never signed a cheque in his life... but earned over a billion $ worth !!!

We guys can call him as we wish... but hats off to the guy in using all possible ways to grow an empire so huge in such little time...!!!

Lets not forget Dhirubhai Amabani also grew his empire on similiar ways... a mix of business and politics to win over an exclusivity in production and sales are the key to their fast and huge growth !

But Sadly - i dont think the wave group can now function with such conviction as they have done in the past... Ponty was the visionary and pillar around whom everything revolved...

Now I dont expect any new projects from them for a sometime now ... And just hope this family feud settles somehow... otherwise u can expect a huge Mess in all the Wave projects in even getting them completed somehow...!!!

Dont forget there is no single owner of this wave group... and all 3 families were equal partners... where Hardeep handled the admist. and finance uptil now....

No single family member now whether it is Monty or Raj will even be able to handle all affairs until the 3rd partner issue is settled...

So they will need to give Hardeep's family a share of things and get them out of the Wave group first to begin working smoothly again...

And this will not happen in a few days time... So the minimum worst situation we can expect now - is a LOT of delays on all wave projects !!!

Shame on people who are justifying these guys and equating it with Ambani. Ambani created the production facilities and refining capabilities which India never had and had to import. He bribed so that he would get licenses to establish his factories. It is similar what we used to get BSNL telephone lines. Most of Reliance's production is exported. He made common people stockholders. You are comparing them to a person who by giving thousands of crores to politicians grabbed liquor business distribution. He is not really producing something useful - just grabbing land and being a broker for liqour business. No one can supply liquour directly to shopkeepers to UP. He would buy liquor from companies at dirt cheap prices and sell them at high profits to wine shops. On top of that he ate crores of rs. of poor children's mid-day meals.

New Delhi: Investigators working on the Delhi farmhouse shootout that left liquor and real estate baron Ponty Chadha and his brother Hardeep dead today claimed to have figured out the sequence of events leading to the sensational killings.

The Delhi police said Saturday's encounter between the two brothers was sparked off by Mr Chadha's alleged attempt to lock up the Chattarpur farmhouse that he and Hardeep had a dispute over.

Police said Mr Chadha, whose real name is Gurdeep, visited the farmhouse at around 10.30 am with his friend Sukhdev Singh, who heads the Uttarakhand Minorities Commission.

Mr Chadha, 55, allegedly asked his men to dab black paint over the farmhouse board carrying Hardeep's name. An enraged Hardeep, investigators said, got a wind of this and rushed to the farmhouse from Noida around noon.

Police said Hardeep first ran into Mr Chadha's aide Narender at the farmhouse gates and shot him. He then fired several shots at Mr Chadha and his SUV, using his licenced 9-mm pistol.

Hardeep, who allegedly continued firing, was shot by Mr Singh's personal security officer Sachin Tyagi from the Uttarakhand police. Mr Tyagi has been detained.

Police maintain all bullets on Mr Chadha's body were fired from Hardeep's gun.

The police have registered a case of double murder in the Chadha killings and another of an attempt to murder Sukhdev. A third case of trespassing and kidnapping has been registered on the complaint of Hardeep's manager.

Investigators said 15 people are being questioned and call records of Mr Chadha being checked.

The shootout happened on Saturday around 1 pm. Mr Chadha suffered 12 bullet wounds and Hardeep four. Narender was seriously injured and underwent surgery in hospital.

This was the second incident of firing at Mr Chadha's residence. On October 5, gunshots were reported from his house in Uttar Pradesh's Moradabad district.

The three Chadha brothers - Ponty, Hardeep and Rajinder - were jointly managing the estimated Rs. 6,000-crore Wave Inc, formerly the Chadha Group, hat has diverse business interests in fields ranging from distilleries, multiplexes, sugar to paper mills.

Mr Chadha was thought to have been close to several prominent politicians. He hit the headlines in February this year when income tax officials conducted searches at his premises in Delhi, Noida, Moradabad and Lucknow.

Liquor baron Ponty Chadha is remembered as an 'extremely hospitable' man

People entertained by Ponty Chadha at his 30-acre Oak Drive, Chhatarpur farmhouse used to be struck by the 25-to-30-foot-high walls surrounding the inner perimeter. And then by the layers of security. It was as if he was living in fear of the world outside his lair.

Each car that entered the outer perimeter would be stopped by an armed guard, its number noted and its occupant politely asked to alight.

Another armed guard would then take the guest on a golf buggy - there were plenty of them around - into Chadha's 1,00,000-square-foot home-cum-office complex designed by Raseel Gujral.

The guard, after leading the guest through 12-foot-high Burma teak doors, would leave only after Chadha indicated all was clear.

This drill was followed for everyone - even Uttar Pradesh ministers, who were regular visitors, were not treated any differently.

Chadha did not come across as a flashy man, but a regular visitor to his farmhouse says it oozes wealth. "It was as if he had money plastered on the walls. I have not seen anything like it," says a business associate who is in the alcohol business.

The farmhouse has a sprawling spa - spread across at least 20,000 square feet - for the personal use of the Chadhas. Every kind of treatment is available at this home spa.

Another attraction for visitors is the vast home theatre where Chadha would call his intimate friends and watch his favourite films.

The most striking feature of the Chadha home was the collection of handknotted silk wall hangings made in Iran.

The business mogul would commission them.

The biggest among them has a striking hand-woven portrait of Guru Gobind Singh on it. In the surreal surroundings, it's a calming presence.

"No one who has seen him outside his farmhouse would associate him with his lavish and sometimes over-the-top lifestyle," says the business associate.

People in the hospitality business remember seeing Chadha make a lowkey entry into events and parties, but he would always come with his personal butler, who would ensure a steady flow of food and drink.

His friends remember him as an "extremely hospitable" man with a razor sharp memory.

"He never carried a pen and notepad to meetings, but he would catch any discrepancy in figures in any document presented to him," recalls a business associate. "The figures were all in his head and they were never wrong."

Another striking feature about him, according to his friends, was his humility.

"He used to build a comfort zone around him and it made people trust him. Of course, it meant he would always have the upper hand in business negotiations," says the associate.

"Getting him to agree to any deal was the most difficult part," the associate adds. "But once he said 'yes', he never went back on his word."

No one who had entered the private world of Ponty Chadha had any reason to believe that he would meet his horrific end.

Ambani and Pondy Chaddha both were big thugs . Both had internal family fights and the resaon was same. Bas farak sirf yeh hai , In case of Ambani goliyan nai chalin aur is case main goliyan chal gayin. Bahut jada farak nai hai.

Still some people on this forum are arrogant enuf to tell others that they are attending chautha. Shameless people
