NOIDA: In a tripartite meeting on Monday between homebuyers of Amrapali Platinum in Sector 119, Noida Authority officers and the MD of Amrapali group, Anil Sharma, the builder assured the buyers that pending issues pertaining to the project would be complied with in 30 days.
The buyers have till now deposited Rs 61 crore against the premium of Rs 98 crore. The dues of the builder towards the Authority till March 31 stood at Rs 85 crore which include interest. According to the minutes of the meeting released by the Authority, the builder has been asked to submit a tower-wise completion schedule to the Authority by May 10, which will be communicated to the buyers. He will give a detailed list of sold-out flats, name-wise and amount received from the buyer on each unit, tower-wise so that the audit can be done.
"The builder got a sanction for 10 towers of 852 flats but submitted completion for nine towers and nine blocks in June 2013. He did not complete the formalities and completion has not been granted till now. The builder promised to make payments of lifts in seven days and finish completion formalities in 30 days. He promised to take steps to solve the complaints given by flat buyers in 15 days," a release by the Noida Authority said.
The builder has been asked to disclose a detailed financial plan on how he would complete the towers with his resources. He will also tell how much money he has taken from the buyers tower-wise and how much he has used till now. Noida Authority officers will visit the site, inspect and report on the quality of ongoing construction at the towers. The builder will now put out the information on the official website.
The builder has also been asked to submit an annual, six-monthly returns in the form of how much money he received vis-a-vis how much work was completed. The illegal construction against the sanctioned plan, if any, will be checked by Authority staff at 10am on Tuesday.
Rajneesh Rastogi, an Amrapali buyer, said, "We took up a host of complaints for discussion today including issues related to insufficient lifts, faulty construction, lack of firefighting facility and our illegal state of residence. All our concerns have been addressed." Shiv Priya, executive director of Amrapali group, said, "Our company was represented and all concerns were addressed. This is a routine meeting organised in a series where we are addressing buyers' concerns."
