I am very close to get over with a deal of Free Hold Plots on the Express Way. They are offering 18500/-sq. yard all inclusive deal which is negotiable. Can some one suggest how safe it is to invest in the plots and what precautions shall I take?

    They showed me the RTI which states that the land is free from acquiring as per the MP 2031 and that it can be used for residential purpose.

  • so it could be abadi or lal dora land. but it is only safe to buy plots allotted by noida authority. Check more before you invest your hard earned money.

    Registry or even mutation means not that Autority can't aquire this.

    We have freehold in Shahberi Village.
    Registry-Mutation done.

    Still affraid.

  • Just got over with the booking, it is Lal dora with no intervention of the authority + No loan. The company has all the documents from the authority plus the people who had sold this land.

  • I still suggest not to buy any property with laal dora or freehold. It is too risky. Recently , GN has put land in aquisition notice for land of shahberi village. It cann`t be revoked this time as GN is following Allahabad high court directive.....

  • Well I just bought it, it sounded like a great deal and I got the land checked with the authority. The documents were there in Black and White. No banks for now financing it.

    I realize it is risky but the level of risk here when compared with other free hold plots is less because they were strong on documentation. Moreover, 125000/- sq yd (Authority Plots) VS 17500/- sq yd (Free Hold Plots), looks like it was worth taking the risk.
