Hi

I was looking for an apartment in Noida and I came across Today Homes' Ridge Residency in sector 135. I see there has been no mention of this builder or this project in the forum. Does anyone know about this builder and this project? Any input would be appreciated.

The other project that I have shortlisted is Gardenia in sector 46, but I see from the discussion on this forum that there may be some issues with the school along the project site. Otherwise, what is the rate you guys have booked the apartment there for?

    Ideally as per this, they should not be charging the service tax, but if they are, then it is actually illegal.

  • The matter is between the court and the govt. The builders are not directly a party. If the govt foes not appeal or if their appeal is dismissed in SC the service tax will have to refunded , if the builders have already deposited the tax, they will need to get it back from govt.

    Is any one, here who have got success via consumer court ?

    Lawyers are saying, We can get money back with up to 24% interest, is it true?

    Not sure if any one got judgement but there are people pursuing the case for the same ( and I don't know them well but this is true.) and they are I suppose fighting for 18%.

    There are pessimist, their are optimists and there are others who want to bake their breads on your burning house.
    Your lawyer is probably a liar.

    However this is really sad that none of the person pursuing the case replied to you. :(
