  • Someone sent me a PM and made a good point. The net worth relative to age is important.

If you have 50 lakhs at the age of 25 and the same amount at the age of 55 is a big difference.

At 25 you have life ahead of you. At 55 you are near retirement. Person with 50 lakhs at the age 25 can leverage and buy up to 1 crore. But at 55 one is more cautious.

    This is true
there should be category like below 25 lacs.
also, staying in own home can also be avoided. what other members says ?

:) Good one....dont think he would have voted in the poll though. There are people like wiseman, venky, rohit_warren, pcpune etc for whom we need a special poll....completely in a different league.

  • A good 2011 thread need to be awakened.

The poll in 2011 showed that 24% people have NW under 50L , 20% upto 1 cr, 20% upto 2 cr, 8% upto 3 cr, 1% upto 4 cr and 6% above 5 cr. Guess in 5 years (with inflation adding) whole bracket must have moved up (esp people holding either RE or stocks/MF or both).

  • It is indeed a blind poll with no scientific basis and subjective.

I hope IT department has not sponsored this poll:)
