Hello

I am planning to sell my old house in pune (5 years old house) with all modern amenities and buy a bigger house in Amanora.

Let me know your reviews about Amanora.

Also how is the market, how soon is the resale property sold ?
Is it better to go via agent or it yourself ?

  • If you want to quick response.. go through agent.

If you have ample of time in hand, do it yourself (DIY). You can post ads in magicbrick or sulekha or 99acres. Negotiate the price and take few days off from office to hunt new property and so on..

Agent would finish off all these task in less than a week or 15 days max,.

My friend is trying to sell his flat in wanowari for 6 months now - he brought at about 42L in 08, asking for 52L. He wants to sell it and buy in Wakad, just can't find a buyer for his existing flat - tried agents, ads etc. You may be luckier - a lot depends on location and price.

This house is Hari Ganga, behind golf course
    Goel Ganga Scheme.

What would be the appropriate rate to quote ?

Everybody want to live in a brand new home and not in the resale one.
but you can post your ad and see how people quote against it.
most of the time people come and go.. they will not even try to negotiate with price. so see the quote you get from buyer and then adjust the price accordingly.
