    very true...its because of the investors that the RE has become a hell...and with Rupee losing strength is going to cause more of these investor nuisance.
    so the prices stabilizing/ correcting seems to be a myth...a way with which the end-users can console themselves...

      Seriously, now we end users need to thoroughly analyze and decide whether to buy with such inflated rates in Pune or to keep renting and buy properties at other locations (May be our so cherished native places ) to safeguard our future.

      I am wondering what could be the break-even point to decide whether to rent or buy?
      Has such analysis has been done before in any part of the world?

      The calculation could be if buying the same property take more than N times the current rent of the property then renting is better .
