  • How to get bhogwata pramanpatra or occupancy certificate

    Hello,

I am staying in Dhayari Gaon, 411041.

I took passion of my flat in May-2012.

I am planning to transfer my home loan but I came to know that my builder never gave us bhogwata pramanpatra or occupancy certificate to us. No one from my society has this certificate.

How to get this certificate form PMRDA now.

My builder is bankrupted and no one is available from builder to contact.

    Please advise.

Can you name the Builder & the Project? A thread may already exist on the Project and there could be other members facing similar issues. If a thread on the Project already exits, this thread would then be required to get merged with the original existing thread.

    Maybe, this helps -

The relevant portion of the News Article is as under -

"In case you are living in a project which is completed and you don’t have the OC then the RWAs can approach the authority. “In case it is an older project, the buyers through the flat owners association can either approach the concerned municipal authority directly for grant of OC or file a consumer action before the concerned consumer forum on the ground that non supply of OC constitutes deficiency of service,” explains Rahul Kriplani, a Delhi based lawyer handling consumer affair cases".
