You can see the completed product and check quality plus u will also find out about any legal issues with the complex.

Regarding price. You should be able to get a 2 BHK for 80 lakhs. BR has been going on for yrs so investors have invested at various price rates - 2800 to 6500 - so the price at which people will be willing to sell will vary a lot.

    +1 to Hero's suggestion.

Resale price at BR is a mystery. I guess the price you pay depends a lot on your negotiation skills. Look at the following posts:

  • Just curious with all these 15-20 floor buildings. If a fire breaks out on say 20th floor, does the fire department have the capability and infrastructure to put it out ? Or is there an implicit assumption from every one : buyers, builders and govt that this will never be the case ?

yes anything may happen, we never know but as of my knowledge i guess builders provide few areas on some higher floors as empty space, so in case such happens then as of safety all the members of building should gather to the closest refuge area provided on different floors

That's correct, in addition they have a fire station inside the township along with a few specialised fire tenders which can reach higher floors as well.

    Plus,
In my tower cluster 9-10-11 and all future towers......according to the fire code........Paranjape has started putting water sprinklers. I hear....that's a HUGE step forward in direction of fire safety.....as per the western standards.

On the flip side......there was a discussion earlier in the thread......about why Paranjape would display these ugly water pipes in full exposure within apartments and why the buyers should have to pay a interior guy to cover them and such..!

The new Platinum Super store is now open. They are opening the medical store in a week or two.

The Green Mart store offers below MRP pricing similar to D-Mart. With three stores (Honeybee, Green Mart, Platinum) open, there is now competition.

Daksha dairy is authorized seller for Amul and Mother Dairy products and is now in the process of opening their fast food center.

We hardly have to go out of BR to shop for daily items. You can walk to all these stores & if you do not want to do that, they also deliver.

Transportation is not a big issue now. Blue Ridge has become a hub for all taxi cab services - Easycab, Ola Cabs, Wings cab etc. I used Ola cabs last month when they had the 20% off (using app) scheme. It was coming to some RS 9/km, even lower than rickshaw. Ola is taking advantage of non-meter rickshaw rates to expand in areas like HJW.

OLA is now Rs.12/km. For 1st 5 km it is Rs. 100. I think for short distances (below 10km), TFS is cost effective

About 4 weeks back when I visited Pune-BR, I used Ola cab to go to airport....and couldn't be more pleased with the service.
