Does anybody know if registration has started at Nanded City ? I had information that it was going to start at the end on July.

    I bet they bring Current Phase (Phase 1) of this township up by early 2012.

    I can not afford to pay 2750/- . They should bring down the rate between 2000/- to 2500/- for everybody.

  • nanded city will be ready after a decade. once it is ready, you will have to trek your sorry self all the way to hinjewadi or magarpatta city for work if you are in IT. i have no idea why people even talk about this scheme.

  • Why even you think that only "hinjewadi or magarpatta city" would the place for IT in next decade as well....

    When Magarpatta City started, did anybody thought of Magarpatta will come like this...So, City Development depends where we have space & better infra...& I think as Nanded City is gonna be new towbship, so will have better more modern infra(at least inside of the township )...So I think NC is good investment opportunity...

  • yes, but magarpatta was not selling flats at such vulgar rates when they were building it. i cannot think of any upside for these projects. i mean, rates are pretty high even now. if someone expects rates to go as high as 6000 sq ft in future, happy dreaming.

    as for IT hub, i don't see previously seen growth for IT sector any more. so, chances of nanded city becoming another magarpatta are quite bleak.

  • Again even 10 yrs ago nobody thought that PS will be selling at 3K Plus rates, I think 10 yrs back Wakad & PS would be around 300-400 per sq. ft.... Now its 3K plus & in next 10 years it would be at least 6-7K plus what Kalyani nagar & Koregaon Park has now...So I think Nadend City ar around 2000 +- 200 is okay rate....

    If you dont see IT sector growth like what it had in last 10 year then why u think only IT ppls BUY homes...So ppls working in Banks, Schools & in other profession dont live in homes????

    Come out from this midset that only IT ppls can afford homes in Pune or say in any big cities...ppls from other profession also buy homes, only difference is that they dont access these kind of blogs/forums very regularly...

    you are being naive if you think the majority buyers of flats in the city of Pune are not from IT-ITES sector. you can see all these hoardings staring in your face when you come out of any IT park.

    what sounds weird to me is your claim that nanded city will become next magarpatta (IT park, IT park!) and find it good for school teachers and bank workers. ironic, isn't it?

    Yesterday, my friend got an SMS from Nanded City.
    Rates are going to go up from existing 2750 to 2850 on 2nd Nov. Hurry up guys ;)

  • ok, may be city develops and becomes useful in future. but, it is still a risk to buyer.

    And, the current rates are already inflated, these does not pass the benefit of this 'risk taking' to buyer.
