Thanx real acres and buddies for replying...can someone suggest a good scheme in kothrud...will the rent factor be 4% or 5%...The fact that i was preferring sinhagad rd. was that my relatvies have bought themselves properties in vadgaon bk area...

Budget is good one, but as of now, many don't fit in this. So, better hold on. As far as rent is concerned, don't expect 4-5% returns on rentals. For this to happen prices need to drop by atleast another 25-30%.

Since, last august, I'm hearing to wait.. The rates are dropped at max by 15-20%. Hoping to go down further....

Why frustrated on the contrary I suppose you should be happy. Right?

Even at max 20% one would have saved couple of lacs. Wait till it becomes affordable.
Would not advice anybody to stretch his budget in recessions.

Frustrated for what? Staying on rent or not owning a house? I don't see any reason for you to be frustrated. I am searching from 2007, yet haven't finalized anything as yet.

It becomes frustrating when you buy today, the prices fall tomorrow & you pay more & save less because of some stupid decision to rush to the things based on buiders' dialogs.
