Have shortlisted one flat in one of Lunkad’s properties in Viman Nagar which is 4 years old. At the time of initial discussion the owner/ agent mentioned that the flat is 1100 sqft in area. However while making the token amount payment, the sale agreement copy which the owner made with the builder mentions the carpet area of the flat as 817 sq ft. The additional loading is not mentioned at all in the agreement and the broker. Owner mentioned that this is regular practice.
My concern is ..is this a regular practice?? If I buy a home of 817 sq ft as mentioned in the papers/ documents…how can I believe the laoding at say 30 % where it is not expressly mentioned.
Wanted your expert advise on this
