  • YES, i had been today to exhibition. For 1st timers its really good, who are not much aware about properties overall. For others who have almost visited everything in pune...its just like revision :p
But overall, this yr, they have put up lot of stalls. ! Most constructions are concentrated wagholi, wakad, baner area.

Also, rates mentioned at the stalls are a bit on higher side. ! when taken a bit more interest with the sales man, on the talks, he says "site pe aana rate kaam ho jayega"

  • Personally, as said before, I have stopped attending these exhibis. Same faces, same theory & same projects which are already sold out/few flats left:D. Btw, is there any entrance fees this time? Sakal will have to bear the cost man:D.

  • Exhibition

Well, I have been there. Its same as usual. People came, they saw same project details from last few months, discussed here and there, collected brochures and went away.

Unless prices are down, I don't think queries will translate into deals.

  • Sakal News paper sasys, 100 Flats sold in this exibition! .. ;)

  • Half truth

First, the news should be 'booked' and not 'sold'. A flat is never sold until registration is done. MEawhile true/dummy bookings may happen and may cancel later. Second, I don't think flat can get sold in an exhibition without a damn care to Site visit, Negotiations, Bank loan approval..etc.

Ok, lets assume 100 flats gets sold, also assume 15000 people visited. Then How about this headline '14900 buyers REJECTED flat booking decision' OR 'Thousands of available flats were DID NOT get any buyer'

  • I would really Congratulate (Sakal) who has converted the enquery into deals in just 4-5 hrs at stall...( aha hah a) didnt customer saw the actualy site????:D, , I must say that ..there is really a Hard time going for builders, but they are not ready to come down...Look at the interest rates coming these days, Banks are offering 7.5% for fixed rate for 2 yrs. , Aditya is giving free registration & stamp duty for its some project which I heard today on Radio...these are clear indication of low demand in Property due to high or non-offerdable prices.

Look at Pimple Saudagar, stil rates are 2800-3200 which is quite reasonable , and the deals are taking place everyday.

Lets see the builder's move on this.

  • Saakal is also a buiders news paper

I also heard some announcement like "Congratulations to bla bla builder for getting one flat sold in this scheme.

Why the hell Sakaal need to announce this? Do they want to spread panic amongst people that there is huge sell of RE in pune?

Times is already a builders agent..but sakaal also going the same way by holding such exhibitions and advertising on builder's side.

  • Yes...I know Sakaal owners, editors etc...but I was believing that it is not directly influenced by those people...as there were some useful news on buyer's side also from Sakaal...

but it was past...Sakaal seems to be changing in this difficult times (for RE) and writing false news to fool buyers.:(

    Beware!!!
