  • Sharing of cost of water supply by tanker

How to share the cost incurred for buying water through water tankers - by the number of people in a family or total cost divided by total number of flats in the society?

There is no fixed formula. Share the cost, as per the view of majority of flat owners.

      Thanks!

The funny thing is one family having 4 members and other family having 6 members.. 4 member family bathing twice a day and 6 members bathing once a day.

This all are issue due to water scarcity .

Such issues do crop up and only solution is to resolve it to the satisfaction of all. If there is a RWA, take up the issue with them and sort it out.

As rightly said by MANOJa there isn't any fixed formula to calculate such costs. However, most of the societies, including ours, divide the amount by the number of flats in the society, irrespective of how big or small the family is. Still, some societies might act otherwise, taking into account the number of people in a family.
