- RE/MAX Comes up with Real Estate Education Convention in India
Further to its series of events aimed at professionalizing the real estate brokerage landscape – RE/MAX Realty Rendezvous, RE/MAX India has launched another first in the India Real Estate Brokerage history, the Indian Master Franchise of the US Based Realty Giant, under the banner of RE/MAX Academy of Real Estate India.
It’s launched Empower through Education - a 4 days Real Estate Education Convention where international real estate educational evangelist and Regional Coordinator of National Association of Realtors Global for Asia Pacific – Ms Gail Lyons is delivering four world renowned designation courses for real estate brokers – Certified Residential, Accredited Buyers Representative & Trans National Referral course at Delhi from 4th December to 8th December 2010.
On this occasion, Mr. Sam Chopra, Director, RE/MAX India said – “Education is indispensable in the road of structuring any industry and real estate is no different. Though Real Estate Brokerage is a very popular profession in India yet there is a lack of a career path for an incumbent and lack of educational opportunities which dissuade a lot of high quality talent give real estate brokerage a miss.”
Empower through Education is an initiative of RE/MAX Academy of Real Estate, India to create such opportunities at regular intervals so that in few years from now, we are able to not only help people upskill themselves but also create a pool of Real Estate professionals who are educated also on their profession.
On this occasion Ms Gail Lyons, Regional Coordinator of National Association of Realtors Global for Asia Pacific, RE/MAX said, “The organization and professionalism which many real estate markets in the west have achieved could be attributed to education.
This is the second initiative of RE/MAX India of this kind; earlier this year the company also got another globally renowned veteran – Mr Jim Van Horn to impart modules on Exclusive Mandates and Customer Service to Real Estate Agents at Gurgaon. The Academy plans to train about 5000 Brokers and Agents outside its captive network in more than 10 cities in the next 5 years.CommentQuote0Flag
