The e-auction for sale of land parcels belonging to the beleaguered Sahara group has been initiated by Sebi, for the recovery of funds. However, the slow market and buyer sentiment hints at an unenthusiastic response from the buyers. Will the offering be good enough to attract buyers for good?

Sebi has mandated HDFC Realty and SBI Caps to auction a total of 61 land parcels estimated at Rs. 6,500 crore.

Will they be able to recover such amount? Any comments?
