Hi!

I am interested in buying plot at a distance of 70/80 kilometres with intention to start an old age home there.

I have a few questions:

1) I am told that if land is in 'gavthan' then NA permission is not required. Is it true?
2) If the land falls under jurisdiction of a Gram Panchayat, whether approval for the bldg plan is to be obtained from Panchayat?
3) Which is the authority to grant conversion of land from Agriculture to NA?
4) Who can buy agricultural land in Maharashtra?
5) Can NRI purchase agricultural land in Maharashtra? What are the documents which are required to be submitted.............

What are the rates of plots per acre around 5 km radium from Badlapur / Titwala station?

Thanks,

Leenayd
