  • Hello RealAcres Sir,

I am a silent follower of this forum for around 2 years and created the account only few months back and this is my first post on this forum. I admire your knowledge of Vaastu Shastra and would like to have your advice.
I have attached the floor plan of the rented flat where I am staying for 2 years. For the last 1 year I feel that my financial condition is getting worse. I am not able to save anything and sometimes my expenses are more than my salary and have to utilize my savings which I had saved earlier.
I will request to check the map of the flat and please let me know if there is something wrong in this flat as per Vaastu or is it due to some other problem. Any remedy to make this flat more Vaastu compliant.
The flat is backside builder floor flat. The doors are marked in bold lines.

I will really be thankful if you can reply.

  • thanks for your valuable input.

tell me if i get a flat which is in the same complex (may be other building) from where the crematorium is NOT visible - shud i still reject that? I mean the project is a REJECT by vastu...right?

Seeing crematorium is bad, but having it close is very bad too, whether visible or not. The distance of your house from crematorium, hospital, temple or any religious place should be atleast 2 kms.

    * PS:- Hospitals means major hospitals & not those small dental clinics. And temple means the common ones open for all & not community temples.
And the shadow of temple, etc. should never fall on your home. If builder has given temple in the premises, ensure that your building is not the one nearby to it.

  • Readings for Oracle74 Home.

    Hello friends

Need advice on the vaastu for this layout.

I would really appreciate it if you could shed some information reg. vaastu for this attached layout.

I have put in a zip folder (its a jpg file)

    Many thanks

The flat is not in main directions but is deviated. The intensity of such things depend upon the angle of deviation. Here are some things need to be done for your flat :-

    > Kitchen is in NW. Ensure that the wall, modular kitchen color etc. as much white as possible. Keep pastel green color element over there, it can be as simple as basket over there. Important point is avoid cooking facing North. Make it East facing for best results, else West but never North or South.

    > The NE bedroom should not be used by elders in family. Make it pooja & study for best results. If not, only small kids should occupy that room, but that too if unavoidable.

    > The bedroom in SE should not be used by member within the family as it leads to conflict with that person who sleeps there. If unavoidable, to reduce the impact, make the curtains red in color, keep some red roses (artificial are OK) & keep rose crystal balls there. This will help in reducing the fire energy here. And avoid blue & black color in this area, infact black should not be used anywhere in the house.

    > In the bathrooms located in east, as said before, keep raw salt & replace it after 15 days. Use exhaust fans & ensure that the bathrooms are clean. As far as possible, use this for bathing & not or extremely less as toilet.

    > Install a 'Mangal Kalash' in your pooja room. It will help reduce lot of Vastu doshas in the house.

    > Use chanting machine in the house for atleast 1 hour in a day & sandal incense sticks daily.

Doing the above mentioned things will help you immensely. If any further query, do write in.
    God Bless. :)

  • Realacres-Thanks for your feedback. Please find the sketch of the property attached.
There is also a slight deviation of the south side compound wall towards outside if you observe carefully.

The kitchen, living, bedrooms are in proper positions. What worries me though is the stairs. They should be in West-SW. It will be best if they can be done over here with stairs being in clockwise direction. Even more precise thing would be you should start with right feet & end with right feet after reaching the floor above.

The main compound door of NW should be painted in pure white.

Coming to plot, SE is extended & SW is cut. Ideally, best thing would be to have all the sides in 90 degrees only. If this is not possible, then for your case, plant Ashoka trees on Southern side of the plot. Hope this helps.
    God Bless.

  • hi, Attaching the flat layout for the red rectangle Northwest corner flat no 3 in tower E. pls advise how much % is this ok. You can see the lifts, stairs in the slide1. How good is shape of plot? thanks

Actually the flat is good on several aspects, including the location of various rooms & bath/toi. The entrance of the flat is South facing in SE, which too is not bad.
However, note that such entrances are not suitable for all, infact this entrance is good for factory or shop dealing in metals.

So, despite the rooms being in place, the entrance goofs up everything as it is not suitable for residential. Having said that, over all, the flat isn't bad either.

Hence, in this case, I would leave it to you to take a call on this but personally, I will be a bit tilted towards NO. Please write in for further queries & god bless.

  • Hi RA,

My house shape is rectangular and the following are specs:

Main Gate is in North-East cornor(Ishan cone)

    OK.

Kitchen is in South-West cornor(Nairatya cone)

Very bad. It will be best if you can shift the kitchen to SE. You can put some soil in earthen pot & place that in kitchen & have brown color elements there. Ensure you don't face South/North while cooking. Place Spectralite stone on right hand side of gas stove. However, kitchen in SW is serious & these or for that matter any remedies won't be much useful.

Bedroom is in South-East cornor(Aagnaye cone)

Keep rose quartz balls/stones near the bed. Keep the bed in South of the bedroom & have paint or atleast curtains to start with in green color.

Staircase is in North-West cornor(Vayvya cone)

Not good but not extremely bad either. If this is in NW on North wall, then it is bad; if it is NW on West wall, then its OK. Just ensure you don't keep any junk material below the stairs & not have any bath/toi below it.

Bathroom is also in South-West(Nairatya cone)

You should have brown color tiles here. The raw salt does wonders, so have it here as well.

Our Main gate,Drawing room gate n bedroom gate are in single lane.

In this case, just put a curtain on 2nd door & keep curtain closed as much as possible. Simple.

Please tell me if some alteration can be done to get rid of vastu dosh if any.

Best would be to swap the locations of bedroom & kitchen. Bed in SW & kitchen in SE will do wonders. See if this is possible & if yes, do it ASAP.

  • Hello RA,
I an planning to book flat no 803 as shown in picture .Can you please help me with your expert advice/suggestions whether this flat is meeting basic vastu criteria. Also let me know how much vast compliant it is in % terms...say 60-70%.
    I will appreciate your help.

In the said flat, there are many good things. However, there is kitchen in North-NE which is very bad. This leads to loss of financial opportunities & money is burnt out, mostly wasted. There are cases where money doesn't come as expected.
The other problem is there is significant cut in NE (and North) as well, which is very bad as well.
Extended NW is not at all desirable as seen in this case.
These are major Vastu doshas, & hence it is best if you avoid buying this flat.
    God bless.

  • Thanks RA for make it clear. Also like to request you to make another clarity
    A. about the location of Red Dwaja hanging place and
    B. about the swastick making place by kumkum:
    1. On out side the main door "or" inside the main door?
    2. On the door or top of the door wall?

If you are talking about red dwaja (flag), then it is put on all windows, doors, terraces etc. by the pundits who perform Vaastu pooja & this is universal.
If you are asking about the 'Toran', then it has to be placed outside the main door. It can be on wall or even on door frame. However, avoid using nails. Either use hooks or brass screws for the same.

As far as Swastik to be made from kumkum is concerned, that too has to be outside but ON THE DOOR itself. So, kumkum swastik on door, & silver/copper swastik above the door frame.

Hope this clarifies your doubts. :)

  • Hello RA sir,

I have purchased a flat whose floor plan and directions I am attaching here. I am soon going to move into the flat. As per builder the flat is vaastu compliant but I am looking for an advice from a consultant. I am reading your thread regularly and admire your knowledge. Could you please help me out.

Thanks for your kind words. And you can call me just RA man, no need of Sir. :)

    PS: Floor Plan is attached.
For directions: Balcony is north east facing. Not sure about the exact angle.

Please check the angle as if angle deviation is more, it changes all the directions entirely & therefore the readings. The following readings are based taking into consideration that the deviation in angle is not more than 10 degrees.

    I need to know:

1: Overall Vaastu of my house? Any minor changes that are need to be done in temrs of getting wood wrok done as this is a raw flat.?

    Good. Changes :-

    > See if door can be shifted more towards NE (currently it is in NW). It will good even if it can be shifted to North.

    > The kitchen platform should be made such that you face East while cooking. No point in having kitchen in East if you face North/South while cooking as seen on the floor plan.

2: I want to build a pooja ghar in master bedroom or balcony attached to it after covering it. Any suggestions about directions.

Pooja ghar should never be outside the house. Balcony, terrace, garden etc. are out of these 4 walls of house. Keep pooja ghar in NE part of the house (inside) in such a way that you face east while performing pooja.

3: Suggestions about wall colour, cupboards, and any other suggestions from you for overall vaastu improvement.

    > The bedroom in SE-East should be painted pastel green. Place a rose quartz crystal here.

    > Plant red color rose, red hibiscus etc. in both the terraces attached to the bedrooms.

    > Keep the beds exactly as shown in the floor plan.

    > The m.bed should have furniture, curtains in brown & shades of brown color as much as possible,

    > The TV should be located on North wall of the living.

    > Have dining chairs arranged in such a way that one faces North, East while eating/drinking. West is also OK, but never face South while consuming food, water.

    > Have the dining table in square/rectangle shape only. Best to have it of wooden. Avoid glass as much as possible. You can ofcourse have glass on wooden base.

    > Curtain color of living room should cream, off-white or lemon;
The child bedroom should be in maroon, reddish in color,
M.bed should be brown in color.

    > Place tulsi plant in terrace attached to living room & lit lamp in front of it regularly alongwith incense stick. Keep this terrace as light as much as possible. Don't clutter & have least number of plants so as to avoid weight. In short, don't make this terrace heavy, this NE terrace has to be the lightest part of your entire house.

    > And yes, usage of raw sea salt (replace after 15 days) in bathroom is universal.

    * One major note :-

Never use antique furniture, goods etc. Infact, even if you own a furniture which is more than 10 years old, replace it with new one.

If you have further queries, please revert.
    God bless. :)

The flat is backside builder floor flat. The doors are marked in bold lines.

I will really be thankful if you can reply.

The main reason for the same is the toilet in NE of the house. If there is toilet in NE, North of house, it leads to financial probs & if exactly in NE, then the owner is doomed.

The first thing which you need to do is to completely stop using the NE bath/toi.
Place raw salt in a bowl there & change it every 15 days. Get exhaust fan installed & ensure that the air remains fresh. Keep the bathroom clean. Once this is done, major issue will be solved.

The bathroom in SE (agni) needs to be used as less as possible. Have red color in your bathroom. This can be as simple as using red color buckets etc.

In m.bedroom, have rose quartz in SE part of the bedroom. Sleep with head towards South & place bed in South of the bedroom.

The color of drawing room needs to be pure white. Also, have a bright & sharp white color lighting done in the living.

I think that one cooks facing towards North in the kitchen. If yes, immediately change the direction & start cooking facing East.

Have a tulsi plant in the east terrace,

Put a 7 mukhi rudrakha outside & above the main door. To conceal it, use a white color 'Toran' on main door.

Install a 'Mangal Kalash' in the pooja ghar & pooja ghar needs to be in NE of the house.

Put a nice picture of mountain in living room in SW part of the room. But ensure that there is no water shown in the picture though.

The balcony attached to drawing room & which falls in SW of the house needs to be made as heavy as possible. Put as much earthen pots as possible here. You can have palm plants over here. Make this balcony as heavy as possible. If there is another balcony immediately above yours, its OK, if you have double height between the balconies, then close the balcony's roof. It can be simple cover of fibre or like those seen in garden restaurants.

See to it that the furniture is placed in SW, South & West of each room & max open space is left in NE of every room,

Put a full size mirror on the North wall of drawing room.

Use lobaan dhoop atleast thrice a week.

Once you do the things mentioned above, you will surely experience change. Please revert if you have further queries.
    God bless. :)

The major issues in your flat are :-

    Kitchen in North;
Major cut in NE due to lift.
    Part of toilet adjoining dining coming in Brahmasthan;
    Cut in NW.

For kitchen, place Labradorite (dark greyish colored rock) stone near the kitchen stove. Place the stove in SE part of the kitchen & face towards East while cooking.

For NE cut, place a full size looking glass/mirror on North wall of living room i.e. the south wall of lift.

For toilet in Brahmasthan, the same old method of raw salt in bowl to be replaced after every 15 days. However, best would be not to use the toilet here at all.

For cut in NW, in both the bath, have as much as white color as possible.

Have a 'Toran' of yellow flowers on the main entrance door. It can be even of artificial flowers.

Placing a 'Mangal Kalash' & using sandalwood incense stick/agarbatti daily in the house helps reduce the Vastu doshas. Use chanting machine for an hour daily as well (costs just about INR 200/-).

If you have further queries, please revert.
    God bless. :)
