  • Importance of Vaastu in Apartments/Plots

In today's modern day thinking, how much of a role does Vaastu play for resale?

It's hard to believe that people think good or bad is going to happen to them on the basis of Vaastu?

What do you guys think? Is this something we all should care about when dealing in real estate?

Vaasthu in plots makes a bit of sense as one i concerned about how light, air enters the house ...But Vaasthu in flats dont really make sense as Flats were not there when Vaasthu was drafted. Also most flats have doors facing each other (East facing owners have West facing flats opposite to them , not sure how light or any force will benefit them).. Today flats are constructed for maximum utilization of space and hence the Overall Layout, entrance of the plot only needs to be considered and not the individual unit:-0

It is a matter of belief . If u believe in it, u would take every precaution while purchasing RE & in other aspects of like .

If u don't believe in it, it would be of no significance to u, since u would never realize the positives effects & the negatives in your life, which could have been side stepped .

Vasthu as practiced in its original form 100's of years back must have had some truth in it. So the so called "science " can not be discarded of so easily.

But nowadays it has become more of a mean to scare people than to help them out, which is not the right way to look at it.

We do not need to blindly follow it but can follow some basic steps to ensure your flat or plot is Vasthu compliant.

Please note that Vastu energy is like a magnetic force and it acts upon each and every person under its influence. In the case of flats or apartments single plot is divided shared among all the flat owners. Here the basic Vastu energies (positive and negative) are also split and shared among all the flat owners. So the good and bad effects are common to the owner of the flat as well the tenant. Better to consult a Vastu expert before investing money for purchasing or renting a flat or apartment.

Does this alleged vastu energy work on a person when he is away from the home/plot/apartment? For example when they are at work?

For an apartment complex, is this alleged Vastu energy split equally among all residents or is it in proportion to the area of the house each resident occupies?

1.Please be aware that the vastu of the house will give auspicious or inauspicious results to inhabitants only. If the house is rented, or owned, or is in the name of somebody else or staying in some other place for working etc, it has no relevance for the vastu subject. If the owner leaves his own apartment and shifts to another place, then the vastu of his own apartment will not affect him. Only the inhabitants of that house will be affected.

                2. This I will explain with an example. If a flat is constructed with a carpet area of 1000 Sq.Ft, the undivided share of the land of 800 Sq.Ft is better than the undivided share of 500 Sq.Ft, the former having more Vastu Energy. (When someone buying an apartment, they are technically buying two things. The first is the constructed part of the building where the owners will actually reside while the second is a proportionate share of the land where the property is built.)

What about when a person is resident in the house but is in office 9am-6pm? During 9-6 does the vastu energy follow him to office/school/college? Or Does Vaastu of the office/school take over during that time?

If a housing society has 50 flats of varying sizes, how does vastu energy know who owns how many square feet? can it read their agreements?
