Dubai Properties has launched the High Potential Leadership Development Programme incorporating 14 of its future leaders.

The programme is part of the company's strategy to invest in its people, in line with the overall objective of Dubai Holding.

The first session was held at Burj Al Arab and was inaugurated by CEO of Dubai Properties Mohamed Binbrek; Yaqoob Al Zarooni, Chief Officer Human Capital; and Francois Viljoen, HR Development Director from Dubai Holding.

It was facilitated by director, Human Resources, Dubai Properties, Hassan Khalifa.

The programme is being conducted in collaboration with Novations, a US-based talent development centre, which helps companies develop employee strengths, capacity and performance using a broad range of proprietary tools. Participation is conditional on candidates' potential to rise to senior positions within the organization in the future, said an official spokesman.

'In today's global market, the pressure to improve is relentless, as companies strive to be continuously more responsive, competitive and efficient. In two years, the number of people employed by Dubai Properties has grown from 82 to over 1,000,' said CEO, Dubai Properties, Mohamed Binbrek.

'Professional development programmes help our expansion and restructuring to cope with the continuous growth of the company,' he added.
