GHAZIABAD: Ghaziabad Development Authority (GDA) witnessed history being made with record bidding for commercial and residential plots in the city. The highest bid for a residential property touched mind boggling Rs 1,22,000 per square meter, while a commercial property attracting Rs 1,44,000 per square meter bid.Neha Sharma bid the highest for the residential plot located in Raj Nagar's RDC area. She could not be reached for her comments.

The minimum bid went for a Kavi Nagar plot that fetched Rs 44,000 per square meter.Dharmendra Pratap Singh chaired the auction that took place on Monday, where 21 plots were up for grabs out of which 14 were successfully bid. There were no bidders for 4 plots while 2 plots had single bidders so the auctioning had to be cancelled for these two plots. Auction of the remaining one had to be postponed for unknown reasons informed one of the officials.Joint secretary of GDA, Gyanendra Verma informed that the unsold plots would be available for fresh auctioning again. When asked whether the current auction will escalate property prices in the city, Verma replied in the negative. "The plots were sold at market rates. They will not increase the price of property in a big way as of now.

"Dinesh Sharma, a property dealer in the Raj Nagar area had a different take on the matter. "GDA has given the plot at a fairly low price." He clarified, "In the worst case scenario, you will not get a plot less than Rs 1,50,000 here." Sharma is a proprietor of Dr Associates, a RDC-based property-dealing agency.

Sharma was of the view that there will be a price appreciation of at least 40 percent in the area in 1-2 years. "This place is a Connaught Place of Ghaziabad. Property prices will shoot up greatly in a matter of few years."This was the first auction organised by GDA after the new government under Akhilesh Yadav of the Samajwadi Party came to power.

Bhai Saurabh,

Raj Nagar-1.22 L/Sqmt ??? RNE which is 1.5 Km away ( even near towards Delhi) How much then ?? only .22L/Sqmt !!

Plots Rates in RNE appreciated more fast then Raj Nagar Main in %... 2.5 years before approved plots in rivers height was booked at 15 K PSY.... at this time not a single approved plot in rivers height RNE is less then 45 K PSY... ie 3 time appreciation in Plot Rate with in 2.5 years..... BTW RNE has very very less approved plots options, I think that RNE approved plots may reach around 60 K PSY within next 2 years....

In RNE, 2.5 Years before 140 SY Villa Anandam Phase-1 (by SVP + Aashiana Joint Project) was sold at 60 Lac, Now Phase-1 is near RTM , Availability in Phase-1 & Phase-2 is fully finished, only some options available in Phase-3 at the cost of 1.3 Crore for same 140 SY Villa....

As per TOI of last week (Ghaziabad edition), the 1.22 Lacs per sq mtr plot was sold in Rajendra Nagar (Sahibabad not in Raj Nagar) . Probably Economic times has wrongly mentioned it as Raj Nagar .. It was a small and corner plot of approx 40 sq mtr which was sold at this high price ..

गाजियाबाद में जमीन के दाम अब आसमान छूने लगे हैं। सर्किल रेट की नई दरों के साथ जमीन खरीदना महंगा हो गया है। जिलाधिकारी अपर्णा उपाध्याय ने शनिवार को जनपद में जमीनों के नए सर्किल रेट लागू कर दिए हैं। व्यावसायिक भूमि के राजनगर (आरडीसी) के सबसे ज्यादा रेट हो गये हैं। यहां व्यवसायिक संपत्ति के नए रेट एक लाख 20 हजार रुपये प्रति वर्ग मीटर होंगे। नई सर्किल दरों के अनुसार राजनगर में आवासीय भूमि के सर्किल रेट 40 हजार रुपये प्रति वर्ग मीटर तथा व्यवसायिक भूमि के रेट एक लाख 20 हजार रुपये प्रति वर्ग मीटर होंगे। इसी प्रकार राजनगर एक्सटेंशन में आवासीय भूमि के 16,800 रुपये तथा व्यवसायिक भूमि के 40 हजार रुपये, वसुंधरा के 42 हजार व 45 हजार, वैशाली, इंदिरापुरम, रामप्रस्थ, सूर्यनगर, चंद्रनगर के आवासीय भूमि के 50 हजार तथा व्यावसायिक भूमि के 55 हजार रुपये प्रति वर्ग मीटर रखा गया है। राजेंद्र नगर, शालीमार गार्डन के आवासीय भूमि के 25 हजार व व्यवसायिक भूमि के 35 हजार, विजयनगर प्रताप विहार में आवासीय भूमि के 16 हजार तथा व्यवसायिक भूमि के 23 हजार, नूरनगर के आवासीय भूमि के 12 हजार, व्यावसायिक भूमि के 25 हजार रुपये होंगे। दिल्ली सीमा पर स्थित कौशांबी में आवासीय भूमि के 50 हजार तथा व्यवसायिक भूमि के 65 हजार रुपये प्रति वर्ग मीटर होंगे। डीएलएफ की आवासीय भूमि के 27 हजार व्यवसायिक भूमि के 32 हजार रुपये, क्रासिंग रिपब्लिक में आवासीय के 21 हजार व व्यवसायिक भूमि के 30 हजार रुपए प्रति वर्ग मीटर के हिसाब से सर्किल रेट लागू किए गए हैं।

please see the attached pdf .

The plot was sold in Lajpat Nagar. It clearly mentioned the adjacent house number as well.

You are also right but actually This Hindi Newspaper Clip and ET News are same, however Hindi local newspaper show some more detail....

Plots sold in Lajpat Nagar, RDC and other GZB areas....

RDC is Raj Nagar District Center which was primly defined into Economics Times and in this Hindi Newspaper Clip also ...

RDC & Lajpat Nagar both make record in Plot Rates in Auction....

गाजियाबाद में 4.11 करोड़ में बिका 175 वर्गमीटर का भूखंड

ठ्ठजागरण संवाददाता, गाजियाबाद हॉट सिटी ने जमीन के भाव के सारे रिकार्ड ध्वस्त कर दिए हैं। मंगलवार को गाजियाबाद विकास प्राधिकरण (जीडीए) में हुई नीलामी में अंबेडकर रोड स्थित 175 वर्गमीटर के एक व्यवसायिक भूखंड की नीलामी 2.35 लाख रुपये प्रति वर्गमीटर की दर से हुई। इसके मुताबिक भूखंड की कुल कीमत चार करोड़ 11 लाख 25 हजार रुपये है। इससे पहले गाजियाबाद में सबसे महंगी व्यवसायिक भूमि आरडीसी की मानी जाती थी। इसके पूर्व नोएडा में 2009 में सबसे ज्यादा महंगी नीलामी हुई थी। उस समय सेक्टर-18 का एक भूखंड दो लाख 18 हजार रुपये प्रति वर्गमीटर की दर पर नीलाम हुआ था। जीडीए सभागार में सात भूखंडों को नीलामी के जरिए बेचा गया। अंबेडकर रोड पर बीकानेर स्वीट्स के सामने स्थित भूखंड संख्या बीएस-तीन के लिए सबसे पहली ही बोली एक लाख 75 हजार रुपये प्रति वर्गमीटर की आई। इसके बाद बोली बढ़ती चली गई। प्लाट नंबर बीएस-3 के लिए बोली विपुल अनिल गर्ग एंड कंपनी की थी, दो लाख, 35 हजार रुपये प्रति वर्गमीटर। 175 वर्गमीटर क्षेत्रफल वाले इस भूखंड की आरक्षित दर जीडीए की ओर से 52 हजार रुपये प्रति वर्गमीटर रखी गई थी। भूखंड संख्या बीएस-2 की बोली दो लाख, पांच हजार रुपये प्रति वर्गमीटर पर छूटी। हालांकि बाद में भूखंड संख्या बीएस-4 की नीलामी दो लाख, 31 हजार रुपये प्रति वर्गमीटर की दर पर हुई, जबकि बीएस-5 और बीएस-6 भूखंडों की बोली क्रमश: दो लाख 22 हजार रुपये और दो लाख 26 हजार 500 रुपये प्रति वर्गमीटर की दर पर नीलाम हुए। साहिबाबाद स्टेशन के पास स्थित नौ वर्गमीटर के दो भूखंडों की नीलामी एक लाख एक हजार 500 और एक लाख 49 हजार रुपये प्रति वर्गमीटर की दर से हुई।
