The project looks nice..area needs a lot of improvement tho..
things are promising as the rate he is quoting is less than compared to boriwali etc.. but not sure if that area is worth around 4.2k psf ..
it might be upcoming tho..

Thanks Bhakti for your response - Actually, I have booked a flat there. Whilst I agree with your views that the area will take time to improve (two years from now - as the authorities have already started demolishing illegal bars and hotels), it is important to see that after the completion of project (hope the builder completes it on time), the current rate of Rs.4.2 should fetch around 5.5 to 6 (if not more). Lodha is quoting 6.5 psf for their project. If you still in a twist mind, you may revisit your thoughts....
DB is giving out matchbox sized houses over there. But seems like a good investment opportunity, because it's DB. They'll give you a good lifestyle if they come up with the promised mall and multiplex soon.
Rabork82 - Have been reading your comments / views very closely (for e.g. Royal Palms and Malvani). I must say they are well studied and thoughtful....... Thanks for sharing them with us. Whilst I agree with you that DB is giving matchbox sized houses, but I think 1 bhk (carpet 407) with an exlcusive parking space in Rs.28.5 lacs isnt that bad ......and that too in Mumbai..... (forget the postal address lets consider physical existence ). And as per your views on Malvani and Oshiwara (which was a slump area 10 years ago), I think Dahisar Checknaka will be improved in next few years.. even the bridge connecting Checknaka to Kashimira and other bridge connecting I. C. Colony link road to Checknaka are well in advanced stages......... And haan.. they have cancelled the multiplex and mall plans.....its a whole residential with some commercial shops in the complex.......

Any Update abt Orchid Ozone...No Payment demand in last 2 months
We have taken a flat in March 2010 in Orchid Ozone in building no. 17. For quite some time, we had been receiving payment requests (which was around 3% of flat cost) for slab completions but there has not been any payment request for last 3 month....which is quite abnormal and indicates that construction work may have temporarily halted.
I even heard that some people are selling their flats and moving out due to uncertainties....does any one has any idea ??? Is every thing OK ???
